Thanks for this video! I would love to see a video with outfit formulas for special occasions! For work this Fall/Winter season I have been wearing a feminine blouse, cardigan, or pullover sweater and pants. On really cold days, I will also layer a pair of thermals under the outfit. If I need to be more dressed up for a meeting, I can easily add a blazer and swap out the pants for a skirt. Now I need to come up with formulas that work for other activities!

Oh I like this idea very much and how you push us to think through why these outfits work and not just say ‘buy this’, etc. I would love suggestions about styling outfits on a weight loss journey. How much to invest in pieces that you know or hope are a temporary phase?!

So glad you enjoyed it. I worked so hard on this video. And I’m glad the tips are helpful! That’s such a great question and a good idea. ❤ I’m going to make a bigger video about that because I love that question so much. I will say here that the key is to rely on your non-clothing item styling tricks like makeup, hair, bags, and accessories to play up any outfit. Depending on how much weight you’re looking to lose, less expensive blazers and bottoms from the thrift store or sale racks from LOFT or Old Navy could be a great option.

Since I’m really going to go for much more of a no buy month and low by buy year, there are only a few things I am looking foorm fitting, and I’m wondering if you could help me find them, is a pair of mid or high-rise, medium wash jeans that have not hardly elastane or stretch in them, and are slightly fitted up top, but then go into a slight flare or a boot cut. I have probably tried on six different pairs, and the only ones that look really attractive to me are $300 and I refuse to spend that much! Do you have any ideas for jeans like this please?

Oh man I love your ideas for low and no-buy. My take on jeans is that if you can get the cut, fit, and dream wash, I’d 100% make a huge investment. One tip by Lake chair with my clients and some thing I do for myself is to try premium denim on either in the store or from Shopbop. If you’re an Amazon prime member, you can try the denim on for free and then return it and what I like to do is figure out my right size and fit and then find the designer jeans cheaper on Poshmark or the real real.

Some of my favorite jeans right now though are from Zara. The ones I’m wearing in this video actually actually are my current go to that are that perfect mid/high-rise with a slight boot cut. Some other brands I’m really loving at the moment are Agolde 90s pinch waist jeans (which you can find heavily discounted on POSHMARK) and the Cassie jeans from a brand called Pistola. They’re also on sale right now. But you can find them really reasonably priced on POSHMARK too.

I believe they are based in Beijing. I looked up their shipping and returns policy. Songmont provides free shipping worldwide on oders over $100 USD. But you have to pay for your return if you don’t like the bag. Are you looking at getting a specific bag?

I see that makes sense. They are gorgeous bags. I would just make sure you are in love before ordering. But seriously that drippy bag had been on my shoulder every day since getting it.
