I started with Etsy two months ago. The first month I learned about ETSY Seo and algorithm (super simple). Im doing Website Seo for 10 years now so it was easy to climb up. I also know how to do good research. I scaled from 100€ in my first month to 6000€ in my second month. I will reach 10.000€ this month.

Sorry Dylan i like your videos but i'll ask you to be realistic with people here. The market 7 years ago or even 2 years ago, was completely different. Not only you collected reviews of 7 years, which is super powerful against any competition but there was much less competition, no one knew Etsy would grow into this monster. Even Etsy didn't know. Now there is insane competition in almost all niches because also gurus in youtube told everybody there is tons of money to be made. it doesn't matter how you will optimize your listing, competition will kill your gains. And another thing for newbies...ads won't save you because etsy is limiting your ad spend. I am a beginner and Etsy is limiting my ads to 1$ pr day. Dylan, if you started your shop now (even new account, new shop,new email), like me, your ranking would in front of Etsy would be 0, then you put your listings among the other thousands of products, you don't even pray for orders. you pray for VIEWS! it's ridiculous. i had only 2 sales of 2$ of digital product. the difference was...competition was very low for the keywords. all physical shirts..nothing, i tried more digital products...nothing, the views are ridiculous. I think if you are in handmade niche, like you, you also bought 14000$ laser machine, you will have less competition. But still very high competition relative to 7 or even 2 years ago. If someone now will buy 14000$ laser machine for making handmade stuff, that would be a huge risk because the competition might kill you and you won't even return your investment. so be realistic. I do appreciate your advice, i follow you, you teach good stuff..but i think you should also talk about the bad stuff and the failures, not everything is golden. Erank and everbee, i used them, they show few low competition niches. you put listing among 1000 listings, that "low"..it sound little but its still alot. less competiton, also less people search there, less VIEWS!..thats why its low competition. Erank and everbee, the numbers there sometimes are unrealistic and not based on reality. I checked and other people confimred it but they give something better than nothing. I had to write now code (i am a programmer as well) to scan etsy and find for me niches with low competition and high sales, so i will test it as well. its much higher quality and real than erank and everbee and i don't need to search keywords or high sales, its giving me them automatically even per month, all year round sales (unlike erank and everbee)...but lets be real, most people cannot write this code and they will spend their time against high competition for nothing. all i am saying be a "real" teacher, talk about the bad stuff and failures as well. your big success is due to being early in the game, be honest. or prove me wrong and open a shop with a new user name, new email (so etsy doesn't know you), and no handmade with laser that most people won't buy and post videos about it

Hi! LOVE your channel! Quick question... do you leave all of your listings on auto-renewal? Do listings lose their "juice" if they are not listed for say, 6 months of the year? Do they loose their "juice" if they are listed ALL year but nobody interacts with them because they are holiday specific? Thanks in advance!

I've tried to optimize my SEO to the best I could, but I don't seem to have sales... I take the best pictures possible, offer customization, fast shipping, I've created my own IG page and been gaining followers but no sales... What am I doing wrong!? Yes, I have 2 items that keep selling over and over since I started 2 months. I just reached 100 sales but my other items are not doing as good even though I keep upgrading photos, videos, and SEO. What do you recommend? Are these my top sellers? I have no tags because that takes 6 months to get.

Great question! There's so many ways to break into this market right now without competing on price. The time in which it takes to generate full time income really depends on your AOV (average order value) and your value proposition relative to the competition.
