Yes I have used oregano oil and tea tree oil to get rid of a fungal problem. I did a Apple cider vinegar rinse first and then applied these oils mixed with castor oil daily for maybe 2 weeks. It saved my behind! Now I try to manage any skin infections due to candida overgrowth from the inside out with a lower carb and low sugar diet. I would recommend it to anyone. Especially pre-diabetic or insulin resistant people who have issues with blood sugar.

My number 1 essential oil which thickens hair (both strands and rejuvenates dormant follicles) is red thyme oil . 10 drops in warm distilled water..spray on scalp X2 a week. BUT spray a bit on your cubita fossa inside elbow first to see if you are sensitive.

+P. R. Charles I am an amateur herbologist. Been playing with essential oils and herbs since 1999. Have tons of stuff like this. BUT. why would you want some red thyme.. your hair is glorious. I use this spray on myself and it would be great for CLIENTS who want sister locks but have fine hair or thin density. For those who want locks but have scalpy or thin hair, I recommend the following regimen for at least 6 months PRIOR to getting locked... (Some of it is stinky) all are scalp treatments but the red thyme causes the hair shafts to swell also. Skin test all product once on the inside of your elbow then once at the nape area in a small section.. if no reaction.. then proceed. ONIONS. for hair growth..treatment for abcesses The active ingredient in onion is allicin. it is an organosulfur compound that DRAWS things out. onion juice is a powerful creator of EXUDATE. this means it draws or pulls to the surface pus or any fluid within the area it is applied. Folk lore says it draws out in blockages in hair follicles which may have contributed to dormancy and wakes up the hair. Many believe the active ingredient can prolong the anagen phase which is the growing phase of hair. here are a few suggestions for using onion juice. WARNING: I am not a dr. I was a scientist and anything I post should be researched. I prescribe NOTHING but am sharing what I personally do and what has worked for me in the past. This caveat applies to any anecdotal info about herbs or oils or hair care that I may write. DO NOT USE ONION JUICE ON EXCESSIVELY SHEDDING HAIR OR ON THOSE SUFFERING FROM ACTIVE HAIR LOSS. ONION JUICE IS VERY POWERADE AND IS CONSIDERED A DRAWING HERB..IT DRAWS STUFF OUT..ON WEAKENED HAIR..IT COULD DRAW IT RIGHT OUT OF THE FOLLICLE. onion juice is an EXCELLENT hair growth tonic among other things. Just remember it is a DRAWING agent..so when you want something in your body pulled to the surface..you can try this. I have heard it can work on splinters or glass embedded deep in the skin but have not used it in that way 1. Onion Juice.. take one medium onion and pulverize in a blender. Loose hair application: put in color applicator bottle and snip the nozzle to make it a bit wider. file down if the opening is rough. For locks.. go between the parts. on loose hair divide hair into 4 sections and clip up. then part each section in half to end up with 8 sections total. one at a time part hair in 1/4 divisions and apply the onion juice. leave on hair for 1 to 2 hours. (cover with plastic cap) You will stink. to wash out..add a few drops of peppermint essential oil to your shampoo and apply. I do this 3 times. if you are still stinky..use either vinegar or salt in ICE COLD WATER and rub along all parts of scalp then shampoo again and rinse. DO NOT LEAVE SALT IN YOUR HAIR. Lock treatment: prepare onion as above or buy onion capsules. mix pulp with 4 Oz carrier oil such as almond or grapeseed oil. let sit for 1 day then strain oil and put in dark bottle in the fridge. I get the dark blue bottles with dropper sold at Whole foods. This must be refrigerated. Use the dropper to apply directly to scalp along the parts. For boils..pimpled..chancres..warts..abscesses: blend one onion.. you can gently pierce the affected area for faster relief. apply pulp directly to swollen area and cover with plastic. This is called occlusion. Leave on for 8 hours or longers. no matter how congested or hard..this will soften the infected area and cause the insides of the inflammation to run like water. you can gently squeeze the area until the serum inside runs clear not cloudy (clear or clear pink when mixed with blood) for deep abcesses..squeeze then when still hard and difficult to get out..apply more onion pulp and cover for 12 to 24 hours and squeeze again. My family and friends swear by this though they were skeptical when I first suggested this. Acne..be careful treating more than 2 or 3 areas as onions create exudate and can cause even more breakouts short term plus for serious acne it can cause a reaction. Let me know if you want more stuff like this and I will share. For active hair loss or shedding..garlic is the way to go NOT ONION. garlic retains or causes follicles to pucker up *like an astringent..onion does the oppositr. Onions also supposedly lower serum cholesterol but I read that..no direct experience for that use. red thyme also lowers blood pressure so be judicious in its use..it can be sprayed on hair and scalp. onion juice should not be applied to hair ..the target is skin and pores not hair. of you get it on the hair shafts the smell will linger longer.

+P. R. Charles Second product for thin hair especially edges: blend 2 Oz of Jbco and 15 drops of neem oil into 4 Oz of a carrier oil. I use either almond or coconut oil. test on skin first. both castor oil and neem can be skin irritants. apply to broken edges and perimeter of hairline. If the person is actively and inexplicably shedding* treat that first but this mixture can be used during active shedding. DO NOT use onion juice on any one who is inexplicably losing hair. Oj is for health head only. you make a large bottle of this because it is applied 2 to 3 times a week and is an excellent maintenance oil for edges. do not use this as a hot oil treatment. Neem oil is expensive. brands matter. i generally mix as I go for myself but for others..i make a large batch so i can get through at least 5 heads on 1 batch. Do NOT ALLOW the dropper tip to touch the scalp if you are sharing oil on many heads (cross contamination issues) same as for onion juice..I part the hair in sections..drop a few drops of the oil mixture and then rub it along the part. a little goes a long way. Neem oil STINKS. it smells like burnt peanuts. this oil blend is a leave in. the oil did sapped in a few days but it is strong. I got my eye brows shaved off in 1978 and they never grew back. about a year ago I started applying neem straight from the bottle to my brows..within 2 weeks my brows were back. my Dr had told me that the damage from the razor destroyed the follicles yet almost 40 years later my follicles have been rejuvenated by neem oil. my brows are feathery and not thick...but it beats naked skin. So neem is excellent for thinning areas and I leave it in between washings. I wash my own hair no more than 1 every 2 weeks as my natural oils are easily stripped and I have loose ends. onion juice and neem or neem and Jbco blend for growth..garlic oil or juice for excessive shedding. Always correct hair loss before hair rejuvenation. ALWAYS. most hair loss is correctable. loss due to stress may require meditation techniques..herbal concoctions to drink..diet changes and reflexology. Almost all losses are diet related including the dreaded male pattern baldness. or telogen effluvium. A genetic disorder are normally bad habits that have gone on so long they have become imprinted on a person's genes. This can be addressed but the greatest reversal and benefits may have to take several generations of reversal. I hope that makes sense. For someone with T.E. the use of herbs and oils and diet will be daily to be most effective..if they do it and 3 or 4 generations also address it they can change or affect their genetic encoding. We know this is true scientifically by studying Mendel's work and the fact that until the 1800s certain families were full of people with 6 fingers on one hand and over time it was bred out. What we ING ST affects our DNA. SORRY for that segue lecture into genetics.. back to hair care. garlic oil is excellent for slowing..reversing and stopping hair loss. Onion..neem oil and castor oil are excellent for growth or thickeners. if you have an email address..I will give you my own personal secrets for hair strength. it does not matter if you stop hair loss or grow it thick I found you cannot keep it on your head. I will say that the strengthening component to thicker hair is by far the most important. It involves henna or protein treatmenrs..judicious use of panthenol in an accessible from and hair cell rejuvenation. A lot of this you probably already do. On top of this.. I know African derived hair can shine without product. my own hair is shiny even though it is locked. I begin henna treatments on clients about 6 months before locking..I also treat thickness or hair health issues at this time and suggest a more holistic way of eating. The easiest thing to change are hair products. .the hardest is our diet. I eat a vegan diet but when I fall off (and let DO fall off) I will eat vegetarian. My weakness is cheese and butter but I don't fall off often. I get more than enough protein from greens and beans and seaweed but I am not trying to convert diets here..it is just that ALL of this goes hand in hand and what we think and eat affects how we act and react and affects how we are. enough lectures! I really enjoy you PR and if I have not said it before. . CONGRATULATIONS on your certification. I took the course some time ago and need the refresher course if I wish to be certified. I don't need it for my work..I never got certified because I never did many of the same heads twice as I will travel and establish the locks then leave and turn people over to local consultants. So my paperwork is off and neither I or my clients much care. But I truly am happy for you and I promote Sister locks and adhere to their tenets when establishing their locks. zip also do other types and patterns though.

+queenbeethatsme100 Love it. Love it. Love it. I read the book biology of belief by Bruce Lipton. So yes I believe it is the environment, cultural and social...even our mental attitudes and beliefs that affects our genes or as you say the imprinting on genes. Thank you for the love I enjoy your wealth of knowledge. Yes I love this kind of stuff. I have also used neem and jojoba before. Good Gawd d ting stink! Lol You said burnt peanuts...it didn't smell that good...I couldn't tolerate the smell. Used it for a little while then stopped. I have my hiccups with my hair before and after locs and I have always gravitated to the natural herbs tinctures and oils. I like to experiment on myself first to see the results first hand. I used to be vegan..long time ago. I eat fish (has to have fins and scales) no scavengers when I have a taste for it. No dairy, no eggs. No gluten. No meat or poultry (20+) I do fall off the wagon around the holidays (gluten) but the desire waxes and wanes as time goes by. Noticed the difference. My aim to is to eat a more raw say 40-50% diet. Gluten was been my biggest challenge. Veggie burgers, meat substitutes, roti, out the window, but experimenting in the the lab (kitchen). Experimenting with cassava flour. Yes I believe diet is key. All is intertwined and interdependent. Love you girl and thanks so much for sharing. :-)

I'm always in search of something to help with my edges. I was told by a dermatologist that I had alopecia in that area of hair loss. I've been on the hunt for resolution to bring back my edges. I've used numerous essential oils Rosemary, tea tree, eucalyptus, and many others as well as vitamin E, castor oil, hemp oil, onion treatment, steroid injections and numerous vitamins without success. However I'm starting to see some growth with including iron supplements and I will add this oil to my regimen to see if it will aid in my progress. I know the value of essential oils so I was shocked to hear about this one being I never came across it in my search until today. I'll order it now and pray that it will be just what I needed. Thanks for sharing!

+Helena Gail Whoa steroid injections...I was offered that for the problem stated in vid. I'm afraid of needles and couldn't stomach the idea. Are you considering to explore more nutritional based solutions along with topical (external) solutions. That's great you are receiving positive feedback from the iron supplements.
@sunkiss4014

Yes I endured those needles for a desired result only to be let down. I am adding nutrition in connecting with the essential oil. I have Amazon Prime so I already have my oil. It was waiting for me when I got in! Fingers crossed this oil will become a staple in my arsenal! Thanks again!

Btw, I use tea tree oil straight. It's the best way to bring dirt and bacteria to the surface. Takes a couple of days but it can bring pimples to a head if you have to much bacteria deep in the poorest ( that's a good thing) But I don't recommend this for sensitive skin.

It seems that Vit E oil works for most people. I hardly have adverse reactions to anything but my face and my hair hates Vit E oil...injested or topically. Every body is different...Good advice. Maybe Oregano oil or Cypress oil or Helichysum oil might help my stress alopecia around my edges...crossing my fingers! TYVM for this video!

Loved this. So much as always I'm looking for your advice as I venture to figure out what works for me. My locs are a year and 3 months and growing wonderfully. They still aren't locked at the ends but I'm being patient as I figure out what works. I too have chemical burns from perming ages ago. I have chemical burns that still flare up in my temple areas. In those areas my locs are the most fragile. They have slipped right out several times along with what I call dirt cakes. I have to scrap my scalp to clean it. Any ways I am going to try this oil but wanted to know more about the other oils you use in your basket. I try not to oil too much because they are so nature but my scalp issues seem to subside when I do so something is working.

F.Y.I. - The food grade wild oregano oil is amazing for boosting your immune system. Your information is new to me and I'll be trying some on my very thin, dry hair, so thank you for sharing your knowledge. Something that's helped up to this point is a product line called Panagenics, which is actually for very expensive show dogs. I was very skeptical at first, but am now a lifelong customer. It's a different sort of cleansing - conditioner used the night before on dry hair and left in, shampoo the next day onto dry hair and then the hydrating spray after getting out of the shower or bath. What was revealed in the RU-vid infomercial is that the acidity or alkalinity of your water is pretty critical and that distilled water works best for achieving optimal hair quality according to whatever genetic traits already exist in your family line. My gray is lightening to a lovely silver and I'm not losing bunches of hair anymore. Your hair is beautiful. Well done.

How many drops would you recommend for a 16 and a 24 oz bottle of conditioner. Also how many drops for leave in conditioner? I make my own beauty products ( I own my own soapery and I have an etsy shop).
@PRCharles
@PRCharles 8 лет назад
+CORKY NATURAL CREATIONS Corena Garoutte 10-20 drops per 8 ounces of shampoo (guess you can substitute conditioner). This concoction will have to sit for a few minutes then rinsed out. DO NOT GET INTO EYES. It will BURN like the DEVIL. You will have to adjust drops more or less at your discretion depending on the concoction of (shampoo or conditioner) for this stuff can smell like some heavy herbal medicine. Now for conditioner you will have to play with it. I have always used it as a leave in by applying the oil straight (already diluted in olive oil by the manufacturer) to my scalp and massaging it in. Uh this oil is massively strong and has a strong odor. It also causes a heat sensation mild to severe for some individuals. Just saying. Ratio's here are for educational purposes. I am not a doctor or chemist. Just sharing my experience from my journey, health food, and essential oil habit. Lol Hopes this helps my friend. Namaste. =)

I just made a gallon of shampoo and. A gallon of conditioner . Best condition I ever tried !! I've tried for many years to find conditioner as good as what comes in hair color from the store. NEVER could and I've tried omg hundreds. Well, I started out making soap from scratch then conditioner and worked my way to making almost any bath and beauty product except makeup ( so far) I'm not exaggerating I swear this stuff will condition ANYONES hair. Yes even dry course hair. Btw, I went through beauty school, so it taught me how to use and then I taught myself how it's products are made. Wahoooo I open a etsy shop very soon.

I am not a doctor. I visited a dermatologist and a natural holistic practitioner for my health and hair. Try cornrows and company. Google. Set an appointment. They due online consults if not in the DC MD VA area. How long does it take for the smell to dissipate? Can I put it on my scalp at night and the smell will be gone in the morning?
@PRCharles
@PRCharles 8 лет назад
+Kam R. Nah!! You don't always smell it when you apply it. Depends on how much oil you put and when you do smell it you can't mask it. I always put it on and don't rinse it out. And when I started using this oil I had barely had any hair (brush cut...1/8 of an inch of hair) About a day or tow the smell will be gone. I use this on pimples, scrapes, bruises. I have no problem with the smell. I don't even smell it after a while. A scant amount will do. Let me know how it works out for you. Thanks for sharing =)

+P. R. Charles I am well. My youngest daughter has severe facial acne and backne (back acne) and has had it since a he was 14. She also picks her face and so has scarring. She has tried many things to get rid of the acne but most either don't work or she only tries them a few times. She uses a lot of make up DAILY to try to mask the acne and is afraid for anyone to see her bare faced. I have told her time and time again to stop the male up but her self esteem is in a low place when she goes without. She has even been on rx drugs but she was an athlete and not only had corrosive sweat (which broke her out in a rash) but also went out in the sun which made her rash much worse. I rarely had acne as a teen and so, when she first has pimples I took her to a very expensive esthetician for facials. (around 300.00 a session plus products) it was there she became acquainted with the dubious practice of picking her face. My baby is in college now and despair of having clear skin. She wants dermabrasion. I told her that her skin must calm way down before such a treatment starts. My sister had severe facial acne as a teen and now has amazing skin.. no outside treatments. .her hormones had to settle and she had to stay away from tomatoes. my husband had severe body acne and still has some to this day..he says his facial acne was small to moderate which probably means it was rather a lot I rarely had more than 2 pimples on my face at any time. Anyhoo. for the pimples and scarring, I am hoping a 2 or 3 week hiatus opens up for my daughter and she elects to come home to me. I would like to take her for colon hydtotherapy.. then water fast her for 5 to 7 days to cleanse her colon futher. After the fast.. return her to leafy greens and some fruits but keep her diet clean with greens but no vegetables from the nightshade family (peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, and eggplant) no sodas, no chocolate, no wheat/gluten and no dairy ..also no meat or fried foods Once she is back on food, we can slowly reintroduce the no no foods and see if she reacts to any. Often a small amount of most foods are fine but when a threshold is reavhed, reactions occur. My daughter began her zit odessey. with a severe case of hives that lasted almost a month and took medication to tone down after that, increasingly worse acne and dermatologists were useless. NOW.. I want to use the P73 in her smoothies or juices and also apply it to a test area on her back and maybe a small area on an active inflamed area on her face. She has very oily skin. Should I just try a bit on her back acne first? because she will ingest a few drops about every other day, should I hold off on skin applications? I have a steamer. Should I steam her face first when we apply it there (thinking that might be too intense) For her back.. I plan to have her take hot shower before applying to a small area. Finally, should I apply full strength (on the back test area) or dilute it in more olive oil first? I believe healing is from the inside out but with hypersensitive people, slow is best. I am thinking. FIRST a small back test area and if no further reaction, increase to a 2 inch x 2 inch area on her back. If it goes well continue on her back (she can do this while still at school) I will apply then occlude on a small zit patch. If that goes well, I will try to water fast her for maybe 3 days to see if she can do it.. then continue if she can or switch to a soft juice if she cannot (like apple or watermelon juice) After the fast the acne should begin to clear or be much worse In 3 days she should have a healing crisis as her body releases toxins. by day 7 it should clear. I have water fasted off an on for years often several weeks at a time. It is a great detox and immunity booster . My daughter is neither a vegan or faster. You may wonder why I would try to do so much. Because I only have 1 shot. No matter the results she lacks both the will and discipline to last more than a few weeks. This girl loves her chocolate, sodas, and pizza. (I know) I was going to so all of this with need oil (except for taking it internally) when I remembered your remarks about hyperpigmentstion. If she takes it orally, it will be after the fast when she is back on her regular diet. Her acne is so bad that at this point.. going hard beats what she wants.. which are heavy duty .liver damaging meds.

+queenbeethatsme100 LOl I knew that. Okay I'm quoting straight for the book "The cure is in the cupboard" I put a pic of it on my blog. "However, as mentioned previously diet is a major factor. According to a variety of scientific studies certain foods may aggravate acne, including citrus fruit, chocolate, deep friend foods, nuts, and pork. Processed foods and various food additives are the primary culprits. Certain ubiquitous components of processed foods, notably refined vegetables oils, hydrogenated oils, nitrates, sugar, caffeine, food dyes, sulfites, and cocoa, greatly aggravate acne and may act as the primary cause. Many of these foods aggravate or cause acne by disrupting hormone metabolism. Whatever are the aggravating factors, the end result is infection and/or inflammation of the sebaceous ducts, glands, hair follicles, and surrounding skin. Bacteria, fungi, parasites, and even mites may be involved. The pH of the skin has been correlated with the vulnerability in developing acne. Acidic pH is protective, while an alkaline pH encourages microbial growth, especially fungal growth. The normal pH of the skin is about 5.0, which is quite acidic. Hormonal changes in teenagers may alter the normally protective acidic pH of the skin towards alkalinity, which increases the risk for the growth of unwanted microbes. Commercial soaps, which are lye based, that is alkaline, are also a factor. Be sure soaps used on the face are either acidic in pH or neutral. Oil of oregano is an effective cure for acne. It may be applies directly upon the lesions and can also be added to tops or cleansers. The oil posses potent anti-inflammatory and antibiotic actions directed against the microbes which cause acne lesions. Furthermore, its drying actions help shrink swollen acne lesions, leading to their rapid dissolution. A! Dis ting Long! LOL Not a doctor giving what the book says then telling you what I did for my pimples or spots. Okay book continuation.... TREATMENT PROTOCOL Add a few drops of oil oregano to liquid soaps or cleaners. Wash the face or affected region twice daily. After cleaning apply oil of oregano directly on the pimples in the morning and at night before bedtime. Simply dab a small amount of the oil directly upon the center of the acne lesion once or twice daily. Don't rub the oil vigorously into the skin. Just dab it on where needed. Also, talk 2 to 5 drops of the oil under the tongue or in juice/water twice daily. (Forewarning you this oil is spicy...this sucker is like liquid pepper and it will clear your nose out too...LOL) For best results take Oregamax internally, 2 to 4 capsules twice daily. Adolescents may rebel at the taste of oil of oregano. Take wild oregano gel caps, that is Oreganol, one capsule twice daily. However, the ideal method is to take it under the tongue. With regular use improvement should be noted with a week. If rash or irritation occurs, discontinue use. Gave you the quote verbatim. The only difference for me is that I didn't take it internally for my random few once in a blue moon pimples , cuts and bruises...and I used it with emu oil (non vegan or non vegetarian oil...its from a bird....transdermal...it penetrates all layers of the skin). Let me know how you use it an what works. As with anything we have to experiment and find out what works for us. Namaste my beautiful friend. Hope this helps. Onlookers are like what the heck.....what are they talking about? At the end of the day....it's still a valuable contribution to the community.

@aqua fina That is what the video is about! Oregano oil! That is what she uses for skin and hair help. What is your problem? She has some of the best videos on RU-vid. She has long healthy hair, and that is because of her diet and healthy hair practices. She is giving us free advice.
