I honestly loved the Outlier pants. They give a great silhouette and they do feel like a throwback to a vibe I see coming back more and more. Fits with those will be interesting.
Poliquant for sure. It looks so nice and then it's a beast! The sling bag combo blew my mind. Could be a good vacation/travel pick because of that. Too few jackets in this vid though.
Hey I love your channel and subscriber. Have you thought about practical styling for your audience in the tropics… where it’s always sunny, humid, rain, humid, sunny all year round? Much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
From 10:23 on actually waiting for you to offer me a blue and a red pill😂 “You take the blue pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. ”"You take the red pill - you stay in wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes." 1st and 3rd sunglasses giving me Morpheus The Matrix vibes Get some Fila Disruptors, Fila Excursions, Fila Oakmont Tr Mids or Men's Ray Tracer Tr 2 Mids not the average design and comfortable!
Some very nice pieces ! I am not sure about the JNCO vibe on the Outlier pants. This Thing of Ours carry some of the most interesting lesser known brands. Big fan of that store.
as with everyone I got to go with the Poliquant as my fav. I have the J90-DS in alpha green and it has fast become one of my ab fav jackets. Great for the weather here in LA year round just about, and still light / breathable enough to take for a night out in summer.
Awesome video man! Thanks for copping the J90-SS in Schwarzrot and showcasing it. I got the black version recently which I felt was a more versatile colour but I really want the red/brown one now. I find it really comfy and works just as well on its own and as a mid layer aux'd into the J1W-GTPL. Where is the selfie with Tim from TTIO?
Thanks! Glad to hear you've got some good use out of it, I imagine in black it makes for a far more versatile midlayer. The alpha green DS version looks pretty nice as well
Cant wait to see what shoes you end up pairing with the pants. My go to chunky shoe has been the puma thunder spectra since they dropped, fell in love with the og colorway and they are fairly comfy too.
I’ve got the poliquant jacket too but in black. It’s so cool but I struggle when i should wear it. I love the middle part with the grey logo but I have the worry of me getting too hot and wanting to unzip the jacket, where I will be left with a lot of floppage lol
Thanks! Probably not as a specific video but maybe on IG stories or something one day. I think people have already seen a lot of it from various stories over the past year
Can Outlier make a normal width pair of pants? Their stuff is either extra hyper skinny with 6.5" leg openings or now these JNCO replicas. Just a standard straight fit in your wacky experimental fabric would be great. Being unable to fit my legs in their pants is the #1 reason I haven't bought anything from them.
Gotta get my money's worth 😅 it may or may not have a companion Star Wars ship at some point once I find a cabinet big enough and get round to building it
Quite strange but I just noticed Outliers logo is almost a 1:1 of New Zealand heritage outdoor brand Swandri. Arguably the most iconic NZ clothing brand of all time and hands down the highest quality!
@@ThisIsAntwon Definitely! Got my "Duszen" ID badge in and it's awesome. I'd really love to see more stuff like the Manta and Atheist class sets, but whatever direction they go, it's bound to be deep with lore and craziness.
@M idk how to view countdowns I have reminders on for in IG so can't give you an exact time. They posted a countdown on a IG story sometime within the last 72 hours with 6 days remaining when I viewed it. Their first highlight, 2201, shows a few of the pieces in the upcoming season.
Unless you are a DIY God for that technical fabric you would need to hit up a military contractor or someone like Garuda to make one that is equivalent; even then the inherent price of techfabs will mean you'll only save like 300-400
It's in line with their other stuff - I imagine the separate face fabric and backer made it quite expensive to make. That said, imo the DS version is better 'value' as it'd still be extremely wearable but far cheaper
I gotta say, as much as I appreciate your content...the outfits aren't really great. I get that you want nail the tech wear look in a unique and clean way. But it's often off balance and doesn't suit your body shape that well. Hope you improve on it one day
