Very solid list You have there Parker. Two of my favorites, that I have been fortunate to play, include The Honors Course near Chattanooga, TN and The Cliffs in upstate South Carolina. A sleeper course was Ocean Harbour in Calabash, NC; too bad that course has been closed for many years.
@@frankfarmer3048 thank you! I definitely have a type lol….Honors I bet was unreal but hard to get on I’m sure. I’ll probably play The Cliffs at some point… I’ve heard a few different mentions of marsh & ocean harbor being real good. That’s a shame they closed
I am a big fan of anything Mike Stranz designed but Tobacco Road is one I would play every day. Great list and you were sitting on one of my favorite courses in MB when you were recording this video. Prestwick is a course I have really fallen in love with. Didn't know you grew up on The Cardinal. Still one of my favorite courses in North Carolina. Used to go to the Cardinal Am every year. Had a buddy that played in it and I caddied for him once many years ago. I have probably played that course 100 times but like the new changes they made a lot.
Did you mean not a big fan of Strantz or you are? I personally love him. Prestwick is good but the downfall is very difficult. Cardinal is/was great. Miss it out there. Also very difficult. I played in that one year, was a great tournament at the time. Sucks that they quit running it. Thank you for your comment!
@@ParkerPlaysGolf Sorry I meant that as a compliment to MS. I love all of his courses. Caledonia, TB, Tot Hill. But my favorite is Tobacco. Its just fun. Hard but fun.
