Well I never thought I would catch up but I just about managed it!
Here is list 10 of my favourite watches from AliExpress in 2023...not the best but MY favourites.
I hope you enjoy it and its just a wee look back at some cool watches I reviewed in my first full year on RU-vid.
I could not have done this without your support.

Some great picks in your video.There really has been an abundance of amazing watches this year from China that offer incredible value. Some of my favourites are: 1. IXDAO Engineer for best finished watch on Ali. 2. Sugess S434 diver Glashutte homage. 3. San Martin/watchdives SN0121T titanium my favourite 39mm Pelagos homage 4. San Martin 1957 Railmaster homage is beautifully executed 5. Proxima PX1697 diver smacks of quality 6. Baltany 39mm retro diver realky captures the vintage diver watch vibe and is a real strap monster. 7. Addiesdive AD2118 sky blue dial with wave pattern looks great on the supplied jubilee bracelet - all the Addiesdive watches have offered incredible value for money this year! The San Martin Rail master I actually got in for review and the finishing was astonishing. It would have made this list even though it's not a looker. It's a true tool watch but the finishing was among the best I've seen. A shame it died after running for a couple of days and was returned. Happy New Year 🎊

It has been a great year for AliExpress watches, and your channel. My favourite early on was the sn0116 gmt, but in December I splashed out on a miyota 9039 centre seconds Baltany 1921 and it is now my favourite watch bar none! Happy New Year 👍

Good morning,John.Great looking pieces,all of them.As for the quality,some need a little more work.Besides the quality,another deal breaker for me,is the 40mm and below diameter cases.They seem small to me. Thank you for your time and effort put in,we got informed and,at the same time,entertained.I,also,find your shootings outside,beautiful and soul southing.Including your cat in them makes them even better. Thanks my friend . Unfortunately this is what the channel is about. Really for 40mm and below because for the last few years no-one was looking after us small wristed guys. Great to see watches getting smaller but I do appreciate those with bigger wrists may not be in sync with the watches but I really can't pull bigger watches off...they just don't fit and look daft :) Thanks for looking in and Happy New Year 🎊

Thanks for the video! My favorite Ali Express watches this year were the IXDAO (Serica) diver, and the Seestern S434. Other good ones were the Seestern titanium Pelagos, Baltany Khaki Auto, San Martin 36mm Explorer, San Martin BBPro homage, Merkur tritium field watch, San Martin GR5 titamium, and Proxima CW homage. IXDAO Engineer was a bit of a disappointment. Happy 2024!

Unfortunately I am not in a position to keep many of my watches as I buy them in. It's an expensive hobby . The one I have kept the longest is the Seestern 62mas and it is running perfectly.

I bought the IX & DAO Sericalike and I'm happy with it. Of the ones you listed the Proxima stands out. I'll probably buy that one too. Surprised you don't like the Smiths but we're all different. I'd sell it rather than return it. Demand has eased but you could make a quick £100 at least. Might get you blocked from future buys though. 😉

I won't be buying more anyway. I bought the Arctic Expedition and the Commando before buying the gilt PRS 25 and haven't liked any of them. Really disappointed in the crystal edges. They just cheapen the whole look for me. Happy New Year 🎊
