This is the 1st time I’ve seen one of your videos. And I have to say - I looooove how fast you talk. Seriously. I do not get bored with you. I will be watching more of your vids.
At a recent workshop I discovered painting with a SQUIGEE, you know, that thing you wash your car windows with? Very very fun and interesting results!!!
Dell, in case you need an added bump up for inspiration, Adele has a monthly membership...I’m one of her charter members. It's really worth it. I’m 70 years old, so it's never too late or too early to create even the smallest little drawing, doodle or painting. 😘Best wishes.
I really Admire your personality and your unique Art..thank you Adell,I am learning so many things from you by watching your videos...🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹👏👏🌹👏👏👏
Adele - thank you so much for all your wonderful videos! You always bring a smile to my face and your tips are all top notch. I was wondering if maybe you could do a video about the canvas you use sometime. Do you stretch your own? If so, perhaps you could go through that process? Thanks so much!!
I must get the Richeson grey disposable palette ! My grey palette by Soho is awful...it curls up even after I put an encyclopedia on top of the pad for days! I have to tape it to a piece of cardboard to use it ! Thx Adele. 🌿🌸🍃
This video was a great review for me, Adele! I have all of these tools (I've been a very happy member of your Art with Adele Academy for several years now), but you gave good reminders to me on how to use them, like the trowel and the grey palette paper. I have not been successful with the trowel... perhaps you could make a very short video showing us the trowel techniques in more detail. I think maybe I put too much paint on it. And that plastic wrap--you really are doing monoprinting with it in an unusual way. Brilliant!
Thanks for the suggestion! And thanks for joining. I always say, just get in there and see what happens! Try a trowel on a different canvas, like wood, or cardboard, and then go back to traditional canvas, see if anything changes and see if you can get comfortable with how the paint works. Would love to see how it turns out for you, post in the facebook group when you do!
I have seen you use a tool that has a large metal flat edge and a handle on one side, and you use it to draw/paint a straight edge on your canvas. It looks like a drywall tool but the edge is perpendicular to the canvas instead of flat. Can you tell me what that is called? Thank you!
Hey Adele! I have searched for those plastic pallette knives, but only find them grouped with other knives in a package. Do you have a source to purchase them individually? Love watching your videos!
The brushes are from an art store but you can also get them on Amazon. Here’s the link. www.amazon.com/US-Art-Supply-Synthetic-Varnishes/dp/B01MG5HEZX/ref=sr_1_33?crid=9JPK88456GQH&dchild=1&keywords=nylon+paint+brushes+for+acrylic+painting&qid=1603555486&sprefix=Nylon+paint%2Caps%2C242&sr=8-33
