Beautiful boat Kris and I really like the upgrades you have done. You have given me some good ideas for my new boat, 1999 22 ft pontoon boat with 80 horse 4-stroke Suzuki. Just got it this past fall so I have been looking for upgrade ideas. I particularly like what you did with the LED lights for deck lighting and the red/green lighting. Very nice job. Thank you!

Nice boat and I'm sure yall love the room it has. I got a 22ft triton pontoon but it never makes it out as on my river I like to be a little ruff on my boats with rocks and stumps and sand bars as well my river can get low but I love the room it has for the lakes. you got a lot of goodies on that boat and I'm sure yall think of more to add just in case a fold down top for these work great. Now that gear delay odds are is a lower unit gear chip. when I bought my boat it was fine going in to gears while out of water but soon as I put it in the water it would rev up then more gas it would click in gear and go. found out later it was lower unit gear.

I have a 1990 fd226 I/o that is very similar. Looks like you are doing good. I have an old trailer similar to yours also. I see the hitch has been replaced. Mine came loose and bashed the tailgate on my expedition. I replaced it with a bulldog hitch like you see on a horse trailer. I also welded a ladder on the front of the trailer.

i had that same throttle problem on my old boat right when i was giving the guy who bought it a test drive.... go figure....!!! I took the throttle apart not knowing what i was doing and accidentally fixed it... LOL When you installing a giant beer cooler in that sucker? Every boat needs a name by the way.... I sense a naming contest coming...

I look around everywhere I go but can't seem to score a lake sized boat at a reasonable price. Guess that is the curse of living in a resort fishing area. You'd think they would be plentiful but everyone thinks they're gold or something. Great boat!

Excellent purchase. Versatile, will work on the river or a lake. I used to have a pontoon that I used for catfishing, but with any wind on a lake it was a major pain in the ass. On the river it was fine, but I ended up getting rid of it anyways. Oh, use red lights on the boat. Its the color that will attract insects the least.

Cool looking boat. I actually never thought about using a mid sized deck boat like yours for fishing but after the walk around you done, now I think an lil older one like that would fit me perfectly. Especially since I mainly stick to catfish and bass. Plus it would be safer on my 3 miniature me's to go out on as well. I love the look of a bass boat but most won't accommodate a family of 5 onboard.

I just purchased a Lowe aluminum deck boat . Doing away with benches ect . Setting it up for hunting and fishing. Putting a 150 Yamaha on it .

Hi Kris, Just saw your video. nice boat! If you remove the hood on your motor you will see shift cables on driver side, lower cable is shift cable. loosen clamp and there should be a thumb screw to adjust it. as far as your pump if there is a screen on the transom your pump is on the opposite side under rear deck lid. feel free to pm me if you need more info I have rebuilt quite a few boats in my day.

Chris, on your nav lights, you may want to check and make sure the LEDs are visible from the correct angles (arcs) off the bow. Don't quote me, but I think that's 112.5 degrees both port and starboard. Nice rig, will be fun and comfortable to fish off that. Don't let it put you in the poor house! :)

hey man. I hope fishing is good. the pump for the live bait box on that boat is in the rear of the boat. I think its on the left side (starboars). if you look at the back where the engine sits you'll see the pick up for it, it'll have a screen around the opening. I have that same boat. It's the best boat I've ever owned. good luck.

Nice boat! It would be a good idea to have them get rid of that oil tank and pre-mix the oil and gas.

That grinding when you shift means the shift cables need readjustment. If too lose the teeth on your clutch dog can grind off and you won't be able to shift at all. Clutch dogs are expensive too so you definitely wanna get that fixed ASAP. This exact thing happened to my outboard.

Reminds me a lot of my 1996 Lowe Deck boat, purchased last year and only had out a few times. Looking forward to a lot of good time this summer. Your pump is likely is same place as mine is, in a small compartment directly in front of the motor, only access is a 6" screw on cap. Also be sure your not fighting a blown fuse or a loose wire. Just wondering if you have thought about a mounting base for rod holders across the rear?

I got the same boat just in red and white and mine is an 85 just started restoring it today

I found the same boat as yours form 1988, not as good shape as your though, I am fixing it up, keep me posted of all you do to it, cuz that's my model to follow. Put on a 3rd battery and about to test a 70 lbs trolling motor on it, put in an onboard trickle charger, not the inverted but the one you plug to the wall at home.

Kris, Your LED Bow lights might not be effective. Sure they are bright enough, but on that rail, they may not be visible from 112.5 degrees,from either side, like the short vertical "sectored" light you replaced. There should be a clear break between the red and green in line with the centerline of your direction of travel, Or you could go to the forward corners and put red on one and green on the other so other boaters can tell your direction or heading just by observing your lights From the midpointof your bow bact to 112.5 degrees either side Others should see one color. The wide angle of the deck boat bow might keep them from being seen 112.5 degrees back on either side. Real NAV lights have been cast in sectors whether they are combined at the bow or separated to each side to set the 112.5 angle to each flank. Love your vids just want you to be safe, and avoid any citations.

hey muddy river if your not going to use your front navigation light you should look up aqua sticks powered by yolotec, they make a telescopic camera holder that's perfect for you tubers.. love the boat and I was wondering the pros and cons of fishing a deck boat good luck and have fun

I'd just rid of the Big anchor in the Back and put a Mercury 200 hp on that Deck boat. Your live well pump should be in the back somewhere down below the Anchor Motor. he-he.

that's set up nice. need you to pimp my boat. lol. I really need to find help to get mine going. I got it almost a year ago and had someone stop and help me free and messed it up worst. so its nice 19ft got for 2k started right up. but quit 10 sec later. well he took this and that. then I went to check the gas and found the gas cap was broke inside no air flow. so got my extra gas can cap put on started up ran didn't quit. but now the fuel pump leaks the hose come off the carb I got back on but the black tie come off I can get into it to put. back on. but prob need carbs cleaned. but I can't open and. end o er the seat to fix I can't fix from the. back. so I hope my next help will let me give him something if I don't have enough cash cause that way I can truth the help if I'm paying something. but never got to take anyone last year for my group. broke a lot of hearts the kids so ready for the second year of tubbin. so I ha e to get fixed this year. if I have to sell my pull trailer old van my truck what ever I'm not letting no one down this year. well hope you get out to have fun bro. god bless. and fish on.

i like all your upgrades and engineering but keep your top nav lights. your led nav lights may not be totally legal for coast gaurd standards. its hard to tell from video if you have full 180 degree coverage and can be seen at 90 degree with aft light. awesome boat and upgrades
