25 years ago a lot of construction crew workers got the Famous 7.3 . and a lot of them put the lift kits. A bullet proof engine. Greetings from North Texas.
My last new vehicle was the 95 F250 XL with 7.3, 3.55 LS rear, sliding rear window and of course, the 7.3. Since then, I've had another 95, 96, and 3 99's. I currently use one 99 F350 4WD DRW with an aluminum flatbed for hot shot trucking and another 99 F350 SRW utility body with a hydraulic lift gate for personal use. The 99 will be it for me...not getting anything newer or "stronger" unless I buy a semi. I'll be moving the motor from my wrecked 99 into my personal truck and then rebuild it's motor for a spare.
