Your guy Hendery is one of the most loving, but he is one of the craziest in entire NCT. More you know about WayV members, more you will fall in love.

WayV is the 4th sub-unit of NCT, so all members of WayV are part of NCT as a whole, but the main reason why people make a distinction is in the fact their music is mainly in Chinese (cpop), whereas the other 3 subunits in NCT is mainly Korean (kpop). Also, their name doesn't contain 'NCT' in it like the other 3 subunits. If you want to see the WayV members singing in Korean, then you need to check out the NCT-U subunit which rotates between all (currently 23) members of NCT depending on the concept. I'm pretty sure most/all WayV members have done an NCT-U song by now.

Ok so I notice you can already recognize Lucas. Yes he's cute and Ten calls him Giant Baby. You will love his dynamics with Kai in SuperM. 1:30 - As you probably already know that's Ten. Main Dancer and excellent singer. He's also the one who did the high note in Take Off. 1:53 - That's Hendery, has prince like visuals. Your possible bias since you kept pointing him out. 2:15 - Xiaojun, main vocal. You should react to his cover of For Life by Exo 2:33 - Kun, WayV's leader. Produces and composes some of their songs, at this point he can do anything (from cooking to even riding a plane) 4:37 - YangYang, maknae of the group. For some of his amazing rap skills I recomend Leonidas. He also sings. Lived in Germany but is from Taiwan 10:43 - Winwin, he is in Nct127 but since he debuted with WayV he hasn't been promoting as part of 127. Excellent dancer and is trained in Traditional Chinese Dance. You should check out his and Ten's dance to the song Lovely. WayV is sadly very underrated and people often overlook them, making them the least famous NCT unit. Lately they have gained more recognition because of the promotions of Nct2020, where all members participated as part of NctU. I hope this next comeback will bring them more attention. Other song recommendations: - Bad Alive (get your thirst aid kit, also should check out the princess version for some laughs) - Moonwalk (one of my favorites) - Regular (Their debut, chinese version of the one by Nct127) - Turn Back Time (again, should probably get the Thirst Aid Kit) - Nectar (one of their most famous songs, is on the Nct2020 album but is a WayV song. WayV is quite popular now. At their debut they won as Best New Asian Artist in 2019 and last yr 2020 they won Favorite Asian Artist and Asia Celebrity Award (Music). Their album "Awaken the World" entered in Billboard US World Album at #9. So they got recognized both in Asia and America.

It was 3 minutes and 33 seconds of me holding my chest yelling, "Excuse me?!!" at my TV, followed by, "Boy, SM ain't letting you fly out to Vegas for no booty call!" So yes WayV is the Chinese sub unit of NCT (my favorite sub unit.) I'm OT23 in NCT so basically everyone in this video is my bias along with the rest of NCT. Ten and Lucas from SuperM are in WayV. Ten starts off the song and you know Lucas already. The guy you like is Hendery. I also recommend their songs. Moonwalk, Turn back time, Regular, Nectar, and Bad Alive. yeah WayV are a subunit like NCT 127 but I believe they don't have NCT in their name cuz of tensions between South Korea and China - if you're planning on reacting to NCT U as well, the WayV members are in NCT U's releases. (since NCT U isn't a fixed group but a name that any combination of NCT members release a song/album under, though someone's probably already mentioned that in a comment before lool)

The guy from both videos, yes it was the same guy, is Hendery. A quick travel to WayV's story: they debuted in 2019 (the same year as SuperM) they've released 4 CDs and they're having a comeback on march 10th. Ten, Kun and Lucas were already part of NCT through NCT U, and Winwin was an active member of NCT 127. There was this discussion among WayV fans and NCT fans about WayV being part or not of NCT, but eventually in 2020 all of the members became oficially part of NCT through NCT U. Kun is the leader of the group a great vocalist, you already know Ten and Lucas, Winwin is from NCT 127 an amazing dancer, Xiaojun who also caught your attention is the main vocalist and Hendery and Yangyang are in charge of the rap, and sometimes they write part of the lyrics of their songs. In this group they've shown many sides of themselves on several projects, Kun as a producer, Ten as a designer, Ten and Winwin as coreographers, Kun and Yangyang as composers, aaaaand every member speaks at least 2 languages, making a total of 8 languages known colectivelly. The funny thing is that in the begining not all of them spoke the same language so according to themselves now they speak "WayV language", wich is a combination of Korean, Chinesse and English. They've been introduced lately as a "global group" not only as the chinesse sub unit of NCT and the 7 members have been working on their languages, the ones who weren't fluent in english are mor fluent now, Yangyang is studying german and they've been practicing their Korean a lot (there's no Korean member in WayV so this is really important).

all of NCT’s units are pretty infamous for making “hoe anthems” lol. love talk is arguably the most iconic one, but some of my other favorites are nectar (also wayv), baby don’t stop (nct u), and whiplash (nct 127). the fourth subunit, nct dream, are on the younger side and were minors for a lot of their career so they definitely don’t have as many suggestive songs. also if you want to react to more wayv i’d definitely suggest moonwalk and dream launch!!

Yeah, WayV's the Chinese subunit of NCT. The songs are in Mandarin most of the time with English and Korean versions occasionally (personally I love listening to Mandarin, but one reason the EXO Chinese versions probably don't have as many views is YT is blocked in mainland China). NCT isn't in the name because there's been some banning of Korean entertainment stuff in China due to political tensions. The ban seems to have eased lately, which is nice. But because of that political stuff, WayV doesn't have NCT in the name, they have their own light stick, they have their own fandom name (WayZenNi), are under their own sublabel, etc. But they were apart of the big NCT 2020 project, which brought all the units together for one big album and that was a lot of fun. Members: - Kun (vocal, leader, the other guy you mentioned was handsome in Love Talk, with the plane in Take Off) - Ten (dancer/vocal, also in SuperM, so you know him already) - WinWin (dancer/rapper, previously in NCT 127, you'll see him in their older MVs and contents) - Lucas (rapper, also in SuperM) - Xiaojun (vocal, fantastic voice) - Hendery (rapper, the guy that kept catching your eye) - YangYang (rapper, maknae)

WayV is one of the best groups in C-Pop/K-Pop and they are so underrated.

yesss, finally! wayv has the best title-tracks and choreos in nct in my opinion. the guy you kept pointing is hendery, one of their rappers. his visuals drew me into the group, hahah he is from macao, is really talented, he took part in the writing in 3 songs in their first full-album, so he's the most credited member(yang yang took part too). wayv has it all: visuals, vocals, raps, dance and even production. kun, their leader, produced a lot of songs and it's really into it, but so far sm didn't let him release any. we're expecting to see some of his work on any b-side from their next mini-album, which will come this month with their comeback "kick back". my suggestion for a next song by them has to be "moonwalk". :)

NCT as a whole is 23 members currently. They are a group that has unlimited possibilities. Meaning that in the future, they could add even more members. In fact there are rumors that a new unit of NCT will debut this year and there could be new members. And they are a diverse group of guys coming from all over the globe. They have members from Thailand, America, Korea, China, Germany, Japan and Canada as well as other ethnicities. 127 - First fixed unit of NCT. They are based in Seoul (127 is the coordinates). They started as a 10 member group, but currently Winwin is on an indefinite hiatus as he left to join the preparations for WayV at the end of 2018. Members are Taeil, Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, Mark & Haechan. Dream - Originally was the teenage unit of NCT and originally started as a group that had a graduation system. Once a member turned legal age in Korea they would leave the group. In 2020, SM decided to stop that system and just make them a permanent 7 member group. However they did state that Dream would not always promote as a full 7 member group. It would be depending on which members aren't busy. Sort of rotational, although since that announcement they have yet to release any album besides one song that was a part of the NCT 2020 project. Members include Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle and Jisung. WayV - the Chinese unit. They are called WayV as at the time a Korean act could not promote in China. And since NCT is a Korean equity, they had to drop NCT out of their name in order to promote there. Because of that there was a debate among fans that did not consider WayV NCT because of that fact. However in 2020, WayV officially became a part of NCT when they joined all the NCT members for the NCT 2020 project. Members include Kun, Ten, Winwin, Lucas, Xiaojun, Hendery & Yangyang. NCT U - This is a free-for-all. Basically NCT U is a unit that is rotational. Members change with every song. A song can include 2 members or all 23 members and in between. As of 2020, all 23 members have now officially recorded a song under the NCT U brand. Shotaro and Sungchan are the newest NCT U members, since they joined for the 2020 project. Currently they are the only members who do not have a fixed group.

So many fans called WAYV as C-pop or Mandopop where actually they're a GLOBAL Group. They have so many English version songs, even their dorm is in Korea not in China. They only went to China when they have schedule. I heard they have temporary dorm there, not sure about this one.

WayV just hit different, man. All their songs are amazing. I recommend listening to king of hearts, there’s no MV but it’s such an underrated song.

now that you have reacted to nct 127 and wayv, i think checking out nct dream is a must. aside from wayv, dream is one of my favorite unit. they just boost my serotonin when it is needed. anyway, they are the younger members of nct between '99 and '02. mark and haechan are also members of 127 but they alternate between 127 and dream promotions. songs that i would recommend are 'chewing gum' (debut), 'we young', 'my first and last', 'go', 'we go up', 'boom' and 'ridin''. you will likely notice how some members are not there. after 'chewing gum' jaemin had a back injury and was on hiatus for a year before coming back with 'go'. also, they had a graduation system where the members would 'leave' the group and graduate once they come of age, which is why mark is not in the 'boom' or 'ridin'' mvs. however, sm actually listened to fans for once and decided to stop said system and now nct dream is a fixed unit of seven members. sorry for the little rant, but i hope you are able to look into them sometime soon!! ALSO, wayv is making a comeback soon as well. so keep an eye out for them !!

People sometimes confused WayV if they are NCT's sub unit. Yes, they are NCT's fourth and chinese sub-unit. 4 out of 3 members already debuted with NCT 127 and U prior to WayV's debut in 2019. They are managed by Label V (SM chinese label) and they don't have any interactions with NCT's korean unit because of the tense relation between china and korea (SM didn't even promote WayV 🙄) not until 2020 wherein 23 members (all sub-units) is in one full-length album (RESONANCE). Only 3 members of this group are from mainland china (all of them are of chinese descent). 1 is from thailand, 1 from hong kong, 1 from macau and 1 from germany/taiwan. Ten and Lucas are also members of NCT-U and SuperM; Winwin is also a member of NCT-U and NCT-127, and Kun -- the leader of WayV -- originally debuted as part of NCT-2018; and Yanyang, Xiaojun and Hendrey debuted specifically as members of WayV at the beginning of 2019 when WayV was formed. (Hendrey is the guy you like and he is a rapper an vocalist. Fun Fact: Hendrey is from Macau China. which I kind of think of as the Las Vegas of China.) As part of NCT's Mandarin Chinese sub-unit, not only do the members speak, Mandarin, Korean and English, but Ten is from Thailand so he speaks Thai, Lucas is from Hong Kong so he speaks Cantonese and a little Thai because his mom is Thai; and Yangyang grew up in Germany so he speaks German. WayV is a very international group that speaks many languages, but they all have Chinese heritage which is why SM chose them to be a part of this group. So, pretty much all of WayV's songs are in Mandarin with a few English lyrics and words mixed in. (Except when it's an English version, such as "Bad Alive" or their all English version of "Love Talk," or if you happen to pick the Korean version of "Turn Back Time.") But their songs are primarily in Mandarin. Fun fact: As you heard, the MV for WayV's "Love Talk" is an all English version, but if you listen to the album you will see there is a Mandarin version of the song, as well. SM just chose to only make an MV for the English version. The only reason why WayV doesn't have NCT in their name like the other NCT sub-units is because at the time of their debut there was a lot of political issues between Korea and China, and because of that Korean companies were not able to work in China. NCT's Chinese sub-unit has been going to debut for years, but with all the political issues it took SM a long time to find a way to work around all the rules the Chinese government put in place to prevent its native Chinese citizens from working with anyone associated with Korea and preventing anyone who was working with a Korean company from working in China. So in order to circumvent some of China's restrictions, SM found/created a Chinese company that was willing to take on NCT's Chinese sub-unit, but also allow SM to have a say in the group's concept and promotion activities. Part of how they get around the rules is they gave the group a name that distances them from their Korean roots. (That is also why WayV's Chinese fans are called WayZenNi instead of NCTzens and why WayV has their own lightstick design that is different than NCT's) The company WayV is under is called Label V which is part of SM, but separate from the Korean branch of the company and it produces songs in Mandarin to keep the Chinese government happy. All the members of WayV also speak Mandarin and have some connection to Chinese heritage, but most of the members are not native mainland Chinese citizens, so this gives them some immunity from the Chinese government. But they are representing China and they are promoting Chinese culture, so the Chinese government kind of turned a blind eye to the fact that they are technically still under a Korean company, as long as they hid any connection to their Korean company while doing promotions in China. Because of all the political issues between the Korean and Chinese governments, Kpop idols such as WayV, Lay from EXO, Zhoumi from Super Junior-M and Victoria, the leader of F(x), etc. were all separated from their Korean groups because of the restrictions China put on everything they did since 2016. Now I am nowhere near an expert on the topic, and I admit that I only understand a very minor part of what is going on between the Chinese and Korean government, but as I understand it, part of the reason for the ban on Chinese and Korean workers between the two countries is that China is refusing to align itself with the U.S. or South Korea to protect themselves with deployment of the THAAD missile defense system in South Korea. North Korea and China want to get rid of the rocket system that is meant to shoot down a nuclear missile if North Korea were to launch one at South Korea or the U.S. Another reason why China doesn't like the THAAD system is because China and the U.S. don't have the best relationship, so if the U.S. and China become on even worse terms China is afraid the U.S. could also use THAAD against them. China says the THAAD system is just provoking them to actually start a nuclear war, and until they remove it or at least move it back from the South Korean border, they will continue their ban on Korean products, workers and the Hallyu wave from working in China and for its native Chinese citizens from working with Korean companies. China feels like the Korean government is taking away its native commodities by allowing Chinese people to work in Korea. The issue is even more complicated than this, but that is one part of it. However, this doesn't always explain why some Chinese idols have been able to get around China's rules and have been able to continue working with their Kpop groups without any backlash. But all I can guess is these idols don't have any connection to mainland China. If they are from somewhere else in China, such as Hong Kong or a Chinese adjacent country like Taiwan, etc. or if they are citizens of other countries such as Thailand or Germany, the rule doesn't apply to them. All I can guess is these idols have some sort of loophole, such as they don't have any family living in mainland China, which allows them to avoid the regulations. When China first began cracking down on their citizens working in Korea there were rumors that the Chinese government was threatening to revoke the citizenship of any mainland native Chinese person who continued to do business with a Korean company and lived outside of China. This rule would have prevented Idols, such as EXO's Lay, from visiting family and doing business in China, etc. The only way for them to avoid this from happening was for them to come back to China right away and stop doing business with their Korean companies. I don't know if this was really true or if it was just a rumor, but that is what I heard. Which would explain why some Chinese Idols don't feel any pressure to stop working in Korea because they have nothing to lose if they don't have a life in China. However, in the last few months the tensions between China and Korea have started to let up and the Chinese government has rescinded its ban on China and Korea working together, so we are starting to see our Chinese idols working in Korea again. For example, Lay, EXO's Chinese member, has recently been talking more about EXO on Chinese programs and WayV has actually been appearing on Korean variety shows and doing activities in Korea. Before this WayV, as a group, was not allowed to be associated with anything to do with Korea if they wanted to be allowed to promote in China. However, WayV even released a Korean version of their song, "Turn Back Time," which is a first for them. Also, after almost 6 years, we have seen Zhoumi, one of Super Junior's Chinese members actually back in Korea working alongside his Korean Super Junior members and he has released a song, "Starry Night" with one of his Korean members and the song has both a Chinese and Korean version. So I take all this as a good sign.
