The progress bar is set from your last verification of the level so if you beat it and then extend it, it will be at 100% around where the extension starts

To fix it, you can just verify the level normally and it will automatically fix the progress bar

You can save lots of D blocks by scaling them horizontally by 4

Be sure to make the timing of when the player hits an arrow trigger consistent to stop problems with music sync in your level. One way you can do this is adding barriers to stop players from hitting them in later/earlier places, or copying robtop’s homework in the mini cube part before the drop in dash.

this is a 8-9 star. Also you can turn on debug mode in the pause menu at the top right to see the hitboxes without using mega hack

The reason the trigger didnt work until changing it to channel 4 is because on the first time channel 1 was used, you pass the Y position of the trigger and active it. This is why you should always avoid using previously used channels unless you know what you're doing, since a trigger can activate from across the entire length of the level.

@@Grant-bx5fvI don't know how gd is rendered, but i think itd be like making a low poly model vs high poly, the issue isnt in drawing the individual pixels, its drawing the images and keeping track of the positions,so less things to keep track of means better performance

Warping really messes up the objects hit boxes, scaling does not though. Especially with 4x scaling now

can't you just stretch the force blocks and D blocks to your level is a bit more efficient? Also you could perhaps change the pixeled platforms (the ones with the bajillons force blocks) and replace them by pixeled fan

15th view 34th like :D 👍👍👍👍 Edit: The progress bar glitch is not a editor thing... it's actually with the camera rotations and movements, since it rotates and the borders and things go crazy, it also as you can guess messes with the bar too.

This technique is called halfspacing, many creators had to do it this way in 2.1 since halfspacing never existed before. You have to select an object in the object menu that changes the grid size to be smaller, and then select the object you want to move in the editor, and use WASD to halfspace it. As of 2.203 you no longer need to do this, as official halfspacing has been added, to the second page of the edit tab.

There's something in the extra tab and it's called no effects so when you put a portal and hide it and put on no effects you won't see the effect.

10:24 it requires the level to finish since it doesn't properly know when the level finishes so when you beat it it goes off the time it took for you to beat as when the level finishes, so when you finish far into 100%, next time the end will just be 100%, kinda like the speedruns in dash that end at like 90%
