Dude, that is some amazing progress! I am at the same point you were in the middle of your journey, I can hold a solid handstand, do a few shapes and have a bent arm press, but I have recently gave up on trying the straight arm press in order to focus on other things, but this motivated me to get back at the straight arm press once again!
Dude that's freakin awesome ! As you were going into those super planched Pike Presses I was holding my breath with each attempt, also feeling it in my core and wrists and lower back as if I was right there. Also that's some MAD PROGRESS on your mobility ! Your Hammies and Lower Back flexibility progress was Insane !I know this is a fairly old video but it's my first time seeing this and I had to comment.
Watching for reminders, because I keep failing pike press these days. Seems the key thing I neglect is the flexibility. I find it I hug my legs for a minute or so, standing, the movement just happens so much more efficiently. It almost feels like a spring
Great work man! I’m currently at 10 second handstand but still haven’t nailed it really, I hope one day to be able to get to this though, watching your progress was really insightful and encouraging!
Really inspiring. ATM I'm working on building shoulder strength with Pike Push Ups in order to achieve what you managed to do here. I love the progressions as it confirmed what strength I need to be capable of to evolve.
Maan, I always wondered where were the You tubers that actually documented their trainings and voila! This is super cool, as I'm also beginning to take steps into pike to handstand - as I reached a milestone in my handstand progress.
I might make a video about it actually. I'm not really flexible in any other plane of motion and I think the focus on the pike kinda helped me. Mostly the one leg pike stretch while keeping a straight back was really helpful
@@CaliProgress I think my weak hip flexors are what stopping my progress. I can touch my face with my knee if I really force it (pulling my knees hard). That means my hamstrings are physically able to get there. But I get very bad cramps in my hip flexors. I can't raise my legs high while keeping it straight. I think strengthening hip flexors will improve everything. Edit: I found this video on Reddit. I remember watching your handstand progress video last year. Good stuff 👍
