Yes. After he guessed the opponent’s drawback in the game. If he didn’t try and guess their drawback it would’ve been a better move to move his queen somewhere he could recapture it, so he’s at least winning a bishop after losing his queen
@@pt3renwhile it is true that he put such thing during post production. But I'd like to assume that the TTS is based on what did Simp thought during the game
I was going to say how this was the greatest 100 rated player ever to exist after that bishop move, before I remembered they were not 100 rated. So it turns out that it was actually my short term memory that is 100 rated.
@@Piyush-lj1yqsince I’ve said that I will help, I won’t back down unless there are 5 Asians (other than me) before simp uploads two videos next. Of course, @neodymus has to ask me to help. So, if all that is done, I somehow will have to get attention of simp. And it will be little difficult since I don’t know what kind of comment he reads. So, someone might have to break into his house.
I was slightly confused by the phrase "starting its turn". They could've said it must seek absolution by "becoming" adjacent to one of your bishops. "Starting its turn" sounds as if they can only make a capturing move by starting next to a bishop, which is not the case.
The opponent actually could've gotten out of that by playing 13 ... Rxf7 as Simp's queen hasn't started its turn adjacent to a bishop yet and therefore still can't capture. Then the queen is still trapped and even though he's figured out the drawback and might try to use move 14 to escape, the opponent has the very lucky Bb4+ to force a response and then take the queen. Of course I don't blame the opponent for not seeing any of that during the game, but it's quite interesting to explore the possible timelines with these drawbacks in hindsight.
at the end there the enemy could just eat your bishop and your queen would still be unable to capture, so the king lives if your opponent had realised it that would have turned the game around into a most likely lose scenario for you
What about some Drawback Chess, but you don't reveal your drawback, and you try to figure out your opponent's drawback? And you cannot checkmate them or capture their king until you're 99% sure you've identified it.
Ah, seems like you essentially did that in this video. I liked the deduction and the reasoning, would love to see some more like this where you just try to figure out their drawbacks
Not to backseat, but at 2:37 couldn't you take knight with knight? If he still takes bishop, you get his maiden, you may at most lose an additional rook for a knight.
Him: 200 iq move trapping your queen because he knows your drawback. You: 2000 iq move pulling a desperado trade to check his king for one turn and see what he is and isn't capable of doing, because you don't know what, but you do know it must be some limitation, and your scientifically probing instead of taking the L.
Qg6 wouldnt really be a check though, because the queen couldnt actually capture the king (which has to happen for a win to occur, unlike normal chess). I think black has to play something like Be6 to prevent the bishop from taking on f7 and reactivating the queen.
Wait, I just realised how he calculates his winrate: Instead of doing V/G, where V is the number of victories and G is the number of games played, he does (V-D)*100%, and if R of 1, where R is result, equals D, then the formula is instead (V-(D-1))*100%, where D is the number of defeats. V still denotes victories.
Then again, he did this round at minimum ELO, and so his max ELO Drawback chess winrate is still under 50% under the normal winrate calculation, thus his net victory count is negative in that.
So in a chess world with Catholic Sacraments, we also get the ecclesiastical corruption of a bishop getting his hands bloody and ACTUALLY KILLING the King. BTW ☝️🤓, only another priest can absolve a priest, so the bishop should have had to go to the other clerical piece.
Couldn't opponent play Kg7 instead of capturing the queen? Queen cannon capture so he is safe, and he's now forking the queen and the bishop with a fucking king
Depending on your drawback, something that looks like a checkmate may not actually be a checkmate. If the game would only tell you if a move was a "real" check, you could figure out your opponents drawback easier.
2:57 QG6 is mate in 1, very disappointed in you Simp. Unless you would not be able to take the king with your queen because of the drawback (don't know how drawback chess works).
Personally I don't think you should reveal the drawback unless your opponent does. It's probable that your 100 rated games would go differently if they knew what you couldn't do. They might misplay against your challenge but pretty sure they'd do something different.
@@YannisBaltas-ue8og We all know he’s not a coward no matter how insecure he is about it. Besides sometimes cowardly moves must be made to enable more brave ones later
It really sucks that not a single one of these opponents has revealed their drawback in response to Simp revealing his. Seems to me like basic courtesy.
