Ran out of time at the end! Better videos to come! This is my brief walkaround tour of my brand new 2012 Ford Focus Titanium...didn't go in-depth with too many things because there just isn't time to cram it into one video so expect many more to come with full details of all the features!

@StreaminGarage these are black...you can only get these color cloth sport seats in the Titanium...the leather seats are also black, if you order the style package with the leather seats you can get them with white or red inserts

I picked up my Australian spec Ford Focus Titanium this week, terrific little car with loads of features. We however don't get that large touch-screen but to be honest i'm happy with the smaller centre screen and running everything via the steering wheel buttons. Haven't tried the auto park thing yet. First week of ownership has been very pleasant. It's the black sedan, 2.0ltr direct injection petrol with 6 speed pwr shift, very smooth.

You can also access the radio and MFT without having the key fob in your pocket. Just press the power button on the radio. This feature was on 2000 focus as well and other fords.

So I've been looking at this car and a VW Golf TDI. I've never considered an American car until this new Ford Focus, specifically the Titanium HB. Unfortunately, I'm really disappointed that Ford discontinued the Kona Blue color. Thanks for the great informative videos. Looking forward to more videos so that I can make the best decision. One of my major concerns is consistent great fuel efficiency.

@9ALLEN9 a 6-way power driver's seat is available in the SEL and Titanium Premium packages (up, down, fore, aft, and power backrest)

@yaoyaoenroute I'm not sure, I mean the features are great and the chassis is great...but after living with it the transmission just isn't very good and no the MyFord Touch issues aren't gone. Altima is getting redesigned really really soon so you might wanna hold out on that

@avi1125 I didn't get navigation...the car comes free with SYNC Services for 3 years (it's like $90 per year after that) and that gives you voice turn-by-turn directions through your bluetooth phone, so if you can live w/o the map of a nav screen then the no-cost-for-three-years bluetooth voice directions from SYNC Services is a good way to save yourself from getting the $795 navigation system

Well looks like I'll be getting the Focus SE Sport sedan model..doesn't have leather, MFT, or the sony system..but I'm happy with all the other goodies it comes with.

It's good that you got rid of that P.O.S. when you could - my car's MyFord Touch keeps crashing and now the navigation system has stopped working completely. Even though Ford knows that the MFT computer (APIM) was faulty in 2011 and 2012 models, the company refuses to help me. This is my first and last Ford product.

runforit420 SYNC3 is barely any better, I figured 8 years was enough time for them to work it out but I was wrong when I bought a 2019 Ranger...now I’m officially done with them. I ditched the Ranger shortly after I got it for SYNC3 glitches and other poor quality issues.

@@EricAtMazda I hope the DoJ thoroughly investigates Ford's corporate malfeasance in the PowerS*it debacle, and I hope Ford is charged with fraud for knowing about the problems with the PowerS*it transmission but still installing the transmissions in Fiesta and Focus models regardless. My car has had six transmission hardware failures - four clutch packs and two transmission control modules (TCMs). My car would roll forward in reverse and roll backward in drive. Ford has lost my business forever. Due to the issue with the recalled purge valve in the charcoal canister, that ended up deforming the gasoline tank and caused the catalytic converter to fail at around 110000 kms because the purge line, which should only have vapour returning to the intake manifold, was letting liquid gasoline into the engine in addition to what was already injected. The car used to backfire like crazy when decelerating. I have never heard of a modern car having a catalytic converter failure. I'm so glad that I purchased an extended powertrain warranty because I know Ford would have claimed that I was responsible for replacing the catalytic converter and would have denied all responsibility that the purge valve failure and catalytic converter failure were related. I had an Escape rental with SYNC 3 and I wasn't impressed. What glitches did you have with SYNC 3 by the way?

@@EricAtMazda I need this P.O.S. vehicle to last another year. The new Mark 8 Golf looks interesting, but apparently it will have the dry DSG 7-speed gearbox (with the 1.5 TSI - the Golf has been confirmed for Canada) and not the fantastic Aisin 8-speed torque convertor automatic.

@jason2872002 it can get a little jerky at low speeds and more with the A/C on, but it is a dual clutch automated manual transmission...so people shouldn't expect it to operate like it has a torque converter in situations where manual transmission cars would struggle more, like creeping along at low speeds at low rpm where clutch slipping is required

@Jackster596 the hatch version is about $500 more and I didn't need the extra cargo flexibility, I also highly doubt the additional structural rigidity is noticeable to the average consumer on public roads and nobody's gonna bring a compact sedan/hatch to the track anyways lol

@bIack0NbIack yeah but that's the MSRP...you need the MSRP to calculate a lease payment (which for me is 36mos) (MSRP-residual)/lease term + (MSRP+residual)/lease term + sales tax= lease payment Depreciation+finance charge+sales tax=lease payment

@steve9509 I love MyFord Touch and do not regret getting it...although the system can be slow to respond and slightly glitchy at times...but I overlook those niggles for the most part because it is SUCH a comprehensive system and I'm glad it has the massive amount of features that it has. I would tell people to avoid it if they're not very "tech-oriented" people because it can be VERY overwhelming if you're not tech-savvy

i've also got the tuxedo black sedan. I also chose the sedan because it loos better than the hatch :) the hatch just screams minivan to me. Its weird you didn't get the power seat even though you have titanium with mft

@mercmilan06 I don't think so. Hatchbacks are very good for track riding. People here often take there hot hatches (I know you don't own one) to the track. The extra weight behind the back wheels doesn't improve on handling even in daily traffic. p.s.: I'm not implying you to take your car to a track, I'm just saying.

@jason2872002 The transmission attempts to mimic a traditional automatic transmission but not in a "bad" way like the reviews want everybody to think...they're just pissed because it isn't a performance transmission like the DSG in my mom's 2010 Jetta 2.0T. The shifts are quick enough and really very smooth, the car leaps right off the line and doesn't hesitate at all from a stop...only thing is that in Drive, it can be slow to downshift, nothing awful, but Sport mode fixes those issues

I don't get why these type of cars are so popular in sedan version in the states why clearly they are designed to be hatchbacks in the first place. The hatchback version of this car looks way better, is more functional and probably corners better then a sedan. In Europe the hatchbacks are also cheaper then the sedan version.

first you don't have to stand for two seconds! two this is not the sport this is the regular one you can tell from the rims this is the stock titanium the 5 spoke rims comes inch lower and handling package and you don't have to touch you can swipe your hand on the door handle! it doesn't even come with back up sensors all focuses has that grill shutters and your tires sucks!

Balachander Baba No, these are terrible vehicles. Mine drove me so insane after just one year from all of its problems I got rid of it, and that was 8 years ago when it was brand new.

I can get one for 2500$ cad..it equal around ≈1600/1700$ us it got 180000 km on it (≈ 90k mile) i think its kind of a deal,its the car of my friend's dad .. on kijiji(its like craiglist but in canada) i seen it sold for like 5000$ cad (≈3000 us) i dont make alot of money and the fuel per gallon is pretty good,do your fiesta has a bit of power? Is maintenance costly? I always think that ford arent good,but for the price and the year of the car im interested

@bobyjane1234 I just got a Hyundai Elantra LIMITED:) Sorry but all Hyundai cars beat Ford..lol.2011&2012 compact car of the yr.Also Mid Size Sedan Sonata won it for 2012.Inside&out Hyundai cars look better than Ford.Also material wise its not a cheap..lol.Elantra TOPS compact cars as the best on gas mileage.The only thing Ford has better than Hyundai is the little tech stuff.But Ive heard people complain about how slow it works&the focus leg room in the back isnt enough.

@bobyjane1234 Elantra handles well cause its light&pickup is ok.But its not aSports car&Idont care about performance.But I do think that Focus is better in the performance due2the engine size&HP.In my opinion the best Mid Size sedan is the Sonata or Optima.But I just saw theNEW2013 Fusion&the front looks like anAston Martin..lol.The back&sides look good.Inside is alot better with digital screens,etc... But I dont like the look of the2013Focus:( I think 2012 Focus looks better
