I'm torn between a new Street Bob and Softail Slim. I love the mini apes of the Street Bob and the large gas tank and floorboards of the Slim. This is a great compromise.

Really love the look of your slim S, just looks plain badass. You said they are the mini-apes, does that mean they're the standard Harley 9 inch mini-apes? You're right about the seating position too, loved that about my 2020 Heritage. Like the ride quality of my Road King better though. When I'm done paying that one off I've already decided I'll find a slim S much like yours as my back up bike. That Softail frame just looks so good.

recently started wanting to come to the dark side and get a Harley. been riding crotch rockets for the last couple years and i've developed an itch that seemingly can only be scratched by owning a Harley. been terribly torn between what i want and your bike looks like the one i want. nice bike :)

Did you change out the speed meter to include tachometer?

Learn to ride with out using you clutch, only when you take off, after that you dont have to, RPM, is the key, Good luck I have the Slim S 2016,
