Just to share (because I am a huge handbag nerd) the Celine is just called The Classic. The "box" that always confuses everyone refers to the smooth box calfskin used for some of the bags. As you explained, that's different from the textured leather you have. It's such a beautiful, understated bag! Thank you for sharing!

@@jfpruitt I had to recall this video since it was 6 months ago. I said in my comment that I admire her collection, which I do. But on this topic and in reference to your comment about "this is our future", if you follow Alyssa with any regularity you will know that she is a hard worker and she worked her way up in the industry. She is also politically minded and socially minded and cares a lot for others. So yes, I do admire her and I admire that she stands up for what she believes in and works hard to advance in her career. That does make me proud that she is "our future".

I used to LOVE the peekaboo and almost bought it so many times but you’re totally right...it’s not iconic enough to be at that price point. I would rather continue saving for a classic flap from Chanel. It’s more my style anyways.

This is an awesome collection! Nothing against this lovely bag owner but... I do have a conflict with a typical “I purchased this bag through my partnership with Farfetch, Nieman Marcus..” not once, not twice!? I purchase from my paycheck and get so turned off by those brands giving those bags for free and expect us to run and fork up 2-4K for the same bag we see advertised on RU-vid/Instagram. I don’t think they understand how it turns buyers off.

You have an amazing eclectic collection. I often ask this question; would you have bought any of your bags if it didn't have the bold branding and logos? I don't own anything with monograms and bold branding. Its excessive, but I do realize the trend of logo mania. When I look at bags, I always ask myself if I would buy a bag without the logo and almost 99.9% of the time the answer is no. It seems the logos and branding make the bag. Without it, it looks plain and ordinary. I'm all in for Loewe for its style and no logo/branding. Loewe is more the type of bag I'd buy. I want the design of the bag to speak for itself and not the branding.

totally agree with you on Loewe. I have the same habit of asking myself whether I'd want the bag without the logo, which is why I saved hard for a puzzle bag bcs I think I won't be able to get that particular design elsewhere
