I literally whispered "Wow!", the instant I saw the thumbnail 💖 I've been your subscriber for a few years now and the rose painting is so new and unique compared to your previous years' setups (which are also super elegant by the way.) Super excited to see all your future spreads this year! 😊😄😄😄
Omg!!! It’s so beautiful!!! I wish I was about to start a new bullet journal, but I get 8-9 months in a bullet journal and still have 4-5 more months to go 😭😭😭 I will come back when I am ready for a new bullet journal set up! 🥰
I love listening to your videos at work! You sound so happy, there's a laugh in your voice that is so nice to hear :D Oh and your watercolors are so inspiring too! I love that you always tell us to keep trying, don't worry about messing up. Thank you for all the encouragement! Looking forward to a more creative year in 2021!
for the big numbers, I know some people print out the number in black and trace it, but I actually prefer the wonky, sketchy look. I adore your set up, your paintings are always so incredibly beautiful
I loved this. I have gone through it a couple of times already. A once through, then again to note things I would like to use in my bullet journal. Then back again by sections to remember and note specific points I can use. It is simple and so beautiful. And you have been so easy to listen to. This has been my favourite Video so far on preparing for the New Year... thank you.
I absolutely count all audiobooks as books I've read. Sure, I don't do the mechanical translations of scribbles on paper into thoughts, but everything else about it is just as real as regular reading! Lovely spreads! Love the combination of colours and the cursive style your are using :)
Haha, I totally do that as well! 😄 I've never separated them like this before, but I the audiobooks I listen are very different style of books (mostly self-growth etc.) than the books I read (mostly fiction) so I wanna make sure there would be a good balance of both ☺️
I love this so much!! This set up for 2021 is beautiful and I love the simplicity and layouts of the spreads that you have created! I love how you don't do complicated spreads , you make it' so functional and to me that's awesome cause with my journal I do pretty complicated and complexed work❤️❤️ but I'll tag you on my post when I put it up on instagram to show you what I've come up with for my 2021 journal😉
@@JournalAway your very welcome and haha! That’s good! I’ll tag you once I’ve finished doing it 🌻🙏 and ofc, I like to be honest when I like someone’s art style cause I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to art and yours is perfect! 🥰❤️ I love it so much! 🥳
You have amazing aesthetics. Your sense of color and spacing is so elegant no matter the subject. A beautiful blend of minimalism and lushness and that’s hard to do. I love minimalism but often it can come off as bland. Not yours. Thank you!
LOVE it!! I always look forward to your videos and I really liked your creative ideas for this setup! This year will be my 3rd Bullet Journal and I got an Archer and Olive based on your recommendation. Loving it so far! Excited to finish my yearly setup too now
Such a gorgeous set up!!!! Thanks for leaving all the links for the supplies but which watercolor set did you use for the flowers on the first page? That's the color palette I've been dying to find..... Thanks 👍🤍🥰
I just love your journals so much and your name too but I might be biased since we have the same name haha I bought the same journal but mim is Tsuki original ( a bit smaller) so I was wondering if you think a tsuki journal could fit all this??
I honestly don't have much experience with different brands/techniques to the point I'd feel like I have anything to share 😂😅 I've used the same Schmincke Horadam Palette my whole watercoloring journey and been very satisfied with it! I prefer my new Arrtx Jelly gouache paints to my old Reeves gouache paints, but those were perfect for a beginner as well. Haha, thanks so much for the idea but I feel like I need to experiment more before making that video ☺️
I love your themes, but the spreads do not really function the way I like, but I learn so much from you. Amanda, from AmandaRachLee has a bit more functional spreads in my opinion, but I love your themes; they are always so beautiful and enjoyable. This is my first year bullet-journaling, and I gather so many ideas from you. Keep journaling away, Anna!
Amanda is so amazing!! ☺️ I think the beauty of bullet journaling is that everyone has their own style. I totally agree that some of my over-the-top decorations are not fuctional at all (lol 😂), but for someone wanting to improve their painting or drawing skills I think it works well ☺️
@@JournalAway Thank you so much for responding! I usually get some smearing because I'm a little heavy handed, but I guess I just need to sort out a better eraser. This Tombow dust catch may not be all that haha!
Your video was extremely helpful. Once I heard you mention an improving cursive video I was hooked and quickly subscribed :) I am a beginner and have never bought a bullet journal before. Do you usually get your bullet journals from notebooktherapy.com and is the website credible?
I'm so happy to hear it was helpful! 😍 This was my first time buying a notebook from them, but I had a good experience! :) They have a large following on Instagram as well, which makes it more credible in my opinion. :)
“We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year’s Day.” What an inspiring and merry video. God bless you! Merry Christmas! If you wish to see my first ever monthly planner/ journal set-up for 2021, here is is: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lYcsb_gvGXg.html Enjoy!
@@JournalAway plzzz do a minimalistic black and white themed one bcs I never used any good pens that you use in your drawings, I'm just using "HB pencil, 12coloured cheap watercolor set, normal black pen and 5 colour pens" I struggle a lot and it takes me 2 days to draw your drawings
