Some addittional upgrades since this video was made: I did a custom tune by RVS Performance, changed the levers to PSR Anthem shorty levers, changed the speaker grills on the faring to new blacked out ones, added rear crash bars, replaced the gasket on top of the gas tank, and changed from an Indian Head penny to an Indian Head nickel.
Looks really nice @davidvasquez the only thing different I would do is rear bars for the saddlebags, hard lowers, and switch the low profile trunk with the passenger sissy bar with luggage rack. I hope you enjoy riding your complete bike 🙂. Ride Often and Ride Safe ✌️
if you install saddlebag-crash-bars you can mount a cupholder on either side of you... for yourself or the rider to use.... looks way better than tha big ass SENIOR-CITIZEN CUP HOLDER people are hanging off of their handle-bars.
I wanted the low-profile trunk for my Chieftain. I ordered it in February and was told 45 days. I waited till the last minute but had to cancel my order last week because I'm taking a trip and needed something for storage and a backrest for my wife. So I ended up getting the sissy bar with luggage rack. But I really wanted that trunk. It was just taking way too long.
This is a great vid thank you! Just about everything I plan to do as well minus the cams. Don't quite seem worth the price. I assume you added the audio after? Did they have to order new lids? I am trying to figure out whats worth paying the dealer to do and what would be easy enough to do myself lol
I bought the Lids from a friend who had them on a Chieftan. Yes added upgraded powerband audio. I installed the front speakers and had the dealership install the rear ones.
How did you get that penny in there to stay? I would imagine at some point. You may need to remove it to access the bolt. Just curious . Btw… beautiful bike and well done on the upgrades 👍
@Jeff Armentrout Indain darkhorse should be the same across the line ups, black levers, saddlebag fillers, engine guards.. all standard on the cheiftain and extra on challenger. Sucks !
