@@danpop1714 Well I must be soulless then. He never had what it takes to be in F1 anyway and was taking a seat from someone who could bring skill and value to the team. I would feel more sympathetic if he shown more Grace when he was cut and said something about the people dying under his nations’ war instead of crying that the action to cut him was ‘unilateral’….which is rich with irony because that is the same thing that their army is acting with…unilateral impunity. And after getting a scoop on Season 4 of DTs, he was horrible to Mick and the team and threatened to pull out funding if Mick didn’t have to share pieces of his car…the price for Russian sponsorship…bullies as ever. When you add his off track behavior…NO. His funding dried up and after that only his ‘Value Added’ could save him, and he brought no Value Added. It was a business decision when his funding dried up and LIKE ANYONE ELSE, only his Value Added could save him. Do you think Max, Lewis, Seb, or anyone else is there without adding Value? Yes…Latifi and Stroll are pay drivers and perhaps if they lost the funding to pay for their seat they would be on the chopping block too…but at that point the team would look at their own Value Added. This is as things should be.

@@TommoOnRU-vid yes! Last year it was the opposite. Also, its interesting how the guy with the most excentric designs back in the day (his redbull time) came up with the most elegant and simpler one on the grid.

It's kind of ironic considering Seb used to change his helmet design every race until they forced him to pick something and stick with it.

The greatest part about Seb's helmet is that it's become so iconic, it doesn't even have to be a German flag stripe on a white helmet. It can be any colored stripe, featuring any number of colors, on any color of any background design on a helmet. But so long as the stripe goes down the right side, that's a Seb helmet. We've seen pink stripes on a pink helmet. We've seen rainbow stripes on a grey gradient helmet. We've seen pink stripes on a white helmet. We've seen rainbow stripes on a black and pink helmet. We've seen blue stripes on a pink helmet. We've even see a red stripe on a red helmet for his Niki Lauda tribute helmet and grey stripes on a grey helmet for his final race with Ferrari. When Charles designed his Seb tribute helmet, he did a similar thing with stripes down the right side but in the colors of the Monaco flag. And you can still recognize that the design was clearly influenced and inspired by Seb. Remove the color and it's still recognizable as a Seb helmet. Phenomenal design.

Leclerc's helmet also has the most sneaky integration of national (Monaco) flag from all of the helmets, and it works incredibly well. It just feels like an integral part of the design, and it took me a few seconds to even notice that it is hidden there in plain sight.

The three drivers I cheer for are Seb, Max and Lando. To me they are the most genuine drivers on the grid and this is why. Wouldn’t it be fabulous to see Seb able to go for 5?!

As a Danny Ric fan and a fan of his helmets, I don’t love this helmet as much as I did the others, but I really enjoyed it because it kinda blends in with the car and that’s a really nice touch to have on track. His is my favorite, alongside with Seb’s and Charles’.

It's actually the colours of the flag of his hometown, Asturias. Coincidentally these also became the colours of Mild Seven Renault R25 and R26, the two cars with which fernando won his two championships.

The big thing for Leclerc's helmet is the recognition from the T-cam. When we're looking at the onboard camera of a Ferrari I always think "Is that Charles or Carlos? Ah, it's Charles, I can see the Monegasque flag." Recently I've been able to do this with more drivers as I've memorised what their helmets looked like, but I've been able to do it with Ferrari from basically race 1.

Seb's helmet is goat IMO, it simply doesn't get more iconic than that. Nikita's helmet would actually make an awesome Ferrari helmet this year but of course, we won't be seeing it.

Btw, to the best of my knowledge 'Red Bull Racing' aren't sponsoring Alex Albon now that he has a permanent contract at Williams. To get the seat at Williams, Mercedes insisted that he was completely released from his RBR contract, so Alex is no longer part of the 'RBR team' in any way. However, Red Bull have considerable Thai-based investors who own the Thai image rights for Red Bull (Red Bull was actually created after Dietrich Mateschitz drank a Thai energy drink on holiday once, and then came back to Austria and started Red Bull), so Alex is sponsored by these Thai investors who are (obviously) based out of Thailand and sponsor Alex due to his Thai nationality and heritage. TLDR; Albon is sponsored by Red Bull investors from Thailand rather than being sponsored by Red Bull Racing (Helmut Marko & co).

You are right about the sponsorship, but he is absolutely still a RBR driver. He has a 1 year contract, with possible extension that is decided by red bull. They can get him back after this year of they want.

Top shout on Leclerc, he's my favourite driver, now finally he has a helmet I don't hate. I'd generally rate both Red Bulls and Russell's helmet worse for looking indistinguishable from their teammates. You'll never mistake Stroll for Vettel or Latifi for Albon, but both Red Bulls have white helmets and both Merc's are black.

First of all, thank goodness Seb has his old helmet back. The pink one just did not work for me at all. As for the GOAT, I think i have to go with Hamilton's on this one though. Just like Seb's, it's the kind of design you'll still recognize 10 years from now. But the colour combination just sells it for me. I know from personal experience that not everyone can pull off purple, so respect to Hamilton for that. :D

Vettel's classic white with the German stripe is my favorite... I also love the special helmets he does, because most of the times, it is not flashy, but a very subdued tribute that incorporates his standard design perfectly.

the color palette of fernandos helmet is simply beautiful. but I also think that a flat design like he had last year suits the helmet better as there‘s a little bit too much going on with the new one. however the colors are definitely top tier

The white print on sergios helmet is aztec art, its iconic in mexico for sergio to represent our ancestors on f1 through the aztec art.

I like the fact that Micks helmet is an homage to his father with the seven stars on the top and the suttle nod on the side with keep fighting. Plus its also a very nice color pattern. Sebs helmet should be in the Goat tier by now its just iconic for me and just plain brilliant.

Carlos Sainz helmet is honestly a bit disappointing compared to past versions. My favourite helmet of his is actually the 2019 version. Metallic silver background with the maclaren brush and the spanish flag going around the back of his helmet, simply classy. I don't know why he went on another colour palette but yeah.

I gotta go with Bottas man, just perfect in MY OPINION. Its pretty simple, nice colours, that goes well together and pays homage to both Finland and Alfa Romeo. It has some details that really does it for me. Makes it more intersesting yet it doesent get messy at all.

I really dig that Vettel has the three stripes not centered and is just slightly off-axis. If the stripes would be exactly in the middle it would be boring as hell, but just that small change really does it for me.

You’re crazy. I thought you were going to put russels helmet as the GOAT 😭 it’s the best imo. Maybe I’m a little biased because i love the 63 and how the red flows. But im also a massive lamborghini fan and 63 is lambos number 😂

@@NDakovic how do i not make sense? The red flows nicely around the helmet towards the back and font and size of the 63 is perfect. And then the matte black just make the rest of it pop
