Just stumbled across this video and wished I had seen it before. Such a beautiful collection. I wanted to say which piece was a fav but I have to concede that I love every one of them. Metamorphose, is a brand I return to lots. There poodle skirt is great and I love it. Going to Paris soon, so a visit to A.P. is on the cards for a winter coat. I am a lifestyle Lolita from Wiltshire but pluck up the courage to wear the fashion in London, when down that way. May bump in to you lol. Loving and following.
Super cute! I love the variety in age range, the older pieces are becoming harder to find because people are holding onto them for dear life. 💖 I had the btssb dessert op in yellow at one point and the fabrics are soooo soft, the mint colorway you have is just the perfect shade!
It helps that I started back in 2013 when it was easier to get those pieces! I really appreciate having held onto them 😊 the dessert op is so cute and mint is such a great colour I agree!

RU-vid's algorithm finally did something good by recommending your channel. It was fun to see variety of pieces from a variety of years. Good luck with replacing the elastic on the btssb dress. Do you hang some of your dresses folded on the horizontal bar of the hanger to avoid 'hanger damage'? This happened to one of my jsks. It had been hanging on a hanger from 2008 until 2016 and the fabric had started to warp and the fusible interfacing had peeled in one place. Now when I wear it there's a strange pucker in the side front panel -_-. I now keep all of my dressed folded on shelves. I only use hangers for skirts and tops.
I hang the majority of my dresses folded over to avoid the damage, but sadly this btssb dress was damaged when I got it second hand. I find storing them folded over on the hangers somehow saves space too :) I'd never thought of storing them folded on shelves, but that sounds like quite a good solution too! @@soulgrinderr I didn't expect having them folded on hangers saves space, unless you mean vertically speaking. I got the recommendation to store dresses and other heavier items folded on a few websites that talked about preservation of vintage clothing (because my items are older, and just as costly as many vintage items), they rarely recommend keeping those items hanging on hangers because the weight can warp the fabric over time. Keeping them folded on a shelf is good idea for long term storage but they need to be unfolded at least once a year to prevent deep creases and to check the state of the garment (bugs might eat it,, remember Shimotsuma monogatari?). There are some bugs that eat cotton such as silverfish. Keeping them folded on hangers is a better option compared to on a shelf when the humidity inside of your clothes storage space/closet is very high, because mold might form easier when all the layers are so close together. Never keep your items in plastic bags, plastic containers or plastic garment bags. A better option to store accessories and hats is cardboard boxes lined with a bit of cheap clean cotton unbleached muslin. You don't need to go through the trouble of sewing a well fitting muslin lining, just a large rectangle will be enough to prevent the items from touching the cardboard.
