Thanks for sharing your trips and details. I’m in Bothell, so your adventures are highly applicable for my location! I’m in the market for my first fishing kayak and will be learning from ground zero. I hope to bump into you on the water next year. Have a great season!!
I see you posted a video, first thing to is to like it! Then I sit and watch with all my attention power like I don't have ADHD at all! I'd love to hit the water with you too!
I tried halibut in neah bay this past weekend without success. Have been very successful with lings there. Lmk if you go again I would like to join you. I also spoken with Peter Klos on making a trip
Still working on that goal, haha. I've had my line broken a couple times but that's it. I hooked something massive in a kelp bed on this trip but it just snapped my 20 lb test like thread.
I have to admit to a gear error. I bought a pack of what I thought was normal beads but they were floating corkies. Beads are good for preventing you from reeling your swivel into the tip of your rod. I noticed it but didn’t care. Funny story about them actually, my wife came with me to the bait shop that day and I had her pick them out because I thought it would be lucky lol.
Officially the funniest comment on this channel to date. Wishing you and your unnecessarily buoyant corkies more fish than you can shake an ugly stik at.
