Nice! what do you think of using the compressor before the oc2? Wouldn't it squash your tone if you went for a lower volume octave by using it at the end? I have a similar configuration and basically cant decide if using the compressor before the octaver or at the end of the chain
Very subtle and hardly noticeable tbh, I've tried both but I'm leaning into the compressor end of the chain before the preamp/drive. Always liked octave pedals to be earliest in the chain so they are fed with your cleanest signal.
Nice board. I like your dry sound too. I use a clean booster in front of my mxr envelope filter. It gives an extra spice to the sound. Give it a try. You won't regret it.
Thanks for taking your time to watch Bob. I'm glad I replaced my B7K from the Tone Hammer. The Tone Hammer is good don't get me wrong but I found better tone shaping controls with the B7K and the distortion can be blended according to taste. Lovely vids btw! I subbed
@@ChaduPlaysBass I purchase the B7k plugin from NeuralDPS, it's great to play with it. But for my PB I went for the microtubes X to have a good clean compressed tone along distortion. The Cali76 seems to do a pretty good job anyway! Thanks for passing by.
Great board, great playing. Exactly the tone i want to hear from an Octaver and also tje Envelope filter rocks. Is this pedal intensed for bass or both guitars and bass?

Do you connect it to a bigger section of board if you want more room? I’m thinking of doing that with my Holeyboard. It hasn’t come in yet so I haven’t even laid everything out in person.
Hello! No, this is the main board that I have and I dont connect it with other boards. I do have a micro board as grab and go when I have sets that are not heavy effects dependent. Just a tuner and the spectra drive. But this one is my main rig
Hi bro, v1 ung meron ako. Got it as a gift kasi ako nagdesign nung pedal at rebrand ng logo ni ElectricNim. Toneshaping oks naman sya pero hindi ko makuha ung timpla na gusto ko kaya di ko masyado nagamit. May room for improvement pa. Not sure sa mga bagong version, hope mas oks ung curcuit nya. Narealize ko since importante saken tone shaping ng preamp pedal, mas maigi na pagipunan ko ung mga matagal na sa market and industry. Hope this helps
