I too am all in on the stars. I’m also a bias Dallas Stars fan lol but I feel like they’re being slept on big time by everyone else. The west seems more wide open then it has in years and the stars have proved several times in the past 5 years that they are a tough out in playoffs. They have had like 3 series in that time come down to game 7 overtime and now they have the offense to match their defense. The best comparison for their offense under bowness is like D Sutter w Calgary this year. It felt like sabotage at times and now they’re much closer to playing at their full offensive potential under debore. They were top 5 in basically every team statistic this year. Otter is an x-factor and shows up biggest games. Solid bracket.
I got Avs and Vegas WCF, Devils and Bruins ECF. Devils and Avs finals with Avs going back to back with a big boost from Lehkonen, Makar, and Manson. They were pretty dominant at the end there without those guys and other guys out on top of it. The first round will be the hardest round for Colorado in the West imo, just got to get past the trap in Seattle
Almost identical to my bracket, but I have NJ instead of the rags and Boston winning it. I gotta be an optimist as a Bostonian, I think, but I could also totally see them losing in round 1. I don’t think Dallas can beat the big bad bruins though.
I’m a stars fan. This is how I see the Western Conference playing out (if Dallas wins in like in this vid) Avs v Sea - Avs in 5. Dal v Min - Dal in 7 (demons excised). VGK v WPG - VGK in 6 (Hellbuyck gets injured). EDM v LAK - LAK in 6 (MacDavid has perfected the choke). Avs v Dal - Dal in 6 (Avs too injured). VGK v LAK - VGK in 5 (LAK not good enough). VGK v Dal - Dal in 6 (Oettinger outlasts VGK).
This is how I see Eastern Conference playing out. BOS v FLA - BOS in 6 (a scare for Boston?) TML v TBL - TBL in 7 (TML can’t solve Vasy). CAR v NYI - CAR in 6 (CAR is being slept on). NJD v NYR - NJD in 6 (Hughes have refs in their pockets). BOS v TBL - BOS in 6 (Vasy gets solved). CAR v NJD - NJD in 6 (could convince me either way). BOS v NJD - BOS in 5 (Hughes bros realize they’re in a men’s league).
So we’ve reached a BOS v DAL final like in this video. How will BOS win? 2019 example BOS drops 2 but edges DAL out. How will DAL win? BOS becomes too complacent. Oettinger is doing his best imitation of a brick wall, and Pavs is blessed by NHL officials with a ring so he can retire in peace. IDK.
And Pete Debore getting one on the team that just fired him despite Vegas have a billion injuries 🤣 that would be poetic. No loyalty whatsoever in Vegas.
My predictions: Avalanche in 5 Wild in 6: Probably gonna be the most boring first round series Golden Knights in 5 Oilers in 5: I hope the Kings can pull it off, but probably not going to happen Bruins in 4: Gotta predict atleast 1 sweep Maple Leafs in 7: They've gotta get past the first round at some point right? Islanders in 7: Gotta predict atleast 1 wild card team to get past the first round Rangers in 6
@@icewyre Obvious choice, but I'm going with the Bruins. Good chance that it'll be Oilers vs Bruins in the finals and since I'm a Flames fan, I obviously don't want the Oilers to win... I also feel kinda bad for the Bruins since they have more finals losses than any other team.
They looked really good this year but they may have done to much at the deadline. I heard they were still trying different line combinations up to the last game of the season 😂 I get securing depth for playoffs but why mess that much with something that was working to that point?
