@@alexmayer8943 a set up like this is build over time, it took me 5 years to get a starting line then upgraded from there. is all about putting money aside depending on your financial situation.
Thanks! That was a last minute addition which worried me since I wasn’t sure if I would offend someone for not hearting or thumbs upping their favorite manga, despite the fact that I love all the manga in my collection. Haha
@@Battletide.can I ask for help on where you got your large screen that sits on your desk under your monitors that shows your pc temps and the animated screensaver on it? Also where you got your hidden cable behind it? Do they have this in white version. If not black is ok too
Your setup is so clean and beautiful! And I can't thank you enough for putting all the names of figures, hardware and software so it's easy to find online!
You are welcome. I love watching other room tours to see if people have figures that I never knew I wanted, or have some interesting tech that I now know I need. Hahaha
That's probably because it's well organized, clean, and doesn't look random or cluttered.... at least that's why I like it better than any other I've seen.
@shivamarya5225 they're not overly cluttered? I've seen soooooo many set-ups with mismatched furniture, tons of wall scrolls and plushies, and lots of cheap figures like pop vinyls. It gets tiring after a while to see so many look like collections made by children with money but not aesthetics. It is nice to see set-ups and rooms that look like adults live there. I'm in my 30s and tired of seeing adults with too many things and not enough space just cramming it all together like over-consumers. I also don't really enjoy collections that look like they're a store and not a home. There is something about balance that collectors seem to miss... if you own too much, there is too much for the eye to see, and it becomes monotonous. If you own all from the same 3 shows, it's boring. If the figures all look the same, again, it looks like a store, not a home. I'm for collections being valuable to the owner because they cherish each piece, not because they bought stuff just to own it. Many big collectors on YT are sent pieces or make money off their content and it is clearly a source of income.... I'm not interested in that nearly as much as a calm, neat space where the figures are the decorations in the room and clearly picked out individually by the owner... a nice, organized adult space.
You completely nailed the design of the room the room is very prestigious with all this tech and figures Especially the displays they are very flamboyant with the lighting, props, and backplate the best of the best One of the best rooms I've seen
I'm the same, I love looking at other people's room tours / setups, either to see if I can replicate their ideas into my own room, or just appreciate the work they did to build out their space. And I'm glad you liked my room tour, and appreciate that it made an impact. ☺
Wow, the design of your room is stunning! Your room is so eye-catching and well-coordinated. It's clear a lot of thought and skill went into creating such a polished look. Great job! Looking forward to have my room looking like yours in the future 🤩
this is one of the more mega filled yet non intrusive entertainment rooms ive seen yet. there's such a good balance to it and it's so aesthetically pleasing while being comfortable and not overbearing with the furniture combination. Amazing job
Lots of fantastic items in this room but one of the things i like most is the minimalist and clean aurora the room has. Impressive stuff Battletide i love it!
Amazing work! I'm about to move to a new home and I'm looking for some inspiration. You certainly gave me plenty of great ideas. I can't thank you enough!
Not gunna lie this room tour almost made me cry, its so beautiful. I can tell you've put a lot of time, effort and care into all of your stuff and its exactly where I want to be when I'm finally in a place I can call my own, and for longer than a year. Thank you for sharing this and honestly with the production quality and overall quality of the room I would never have guessed you only had 12k subs. This is truly similar to my end goal and I want to start collecting books, manga, and figures the same as you! They look awesome and I bet its so cool just looking at them. I'll be going through your DIY videos and taking notes for whenever I finally have enough money to set aside to even start a project like this! However, I will start small by at least buying my first ever figure, not sure who it'll be of yet. Younger me (as I'm 23) would be so happy even seeing me type this stuff out haha.
I'm glad the video gave you inspiration. Collecting figures and manga is definitely a fun hobby, but also it can get pretty expensive. Makes sure you are taking care of yourself and your life needs first. Figure collecting isn't going anywhere, it's only getting better with time, so there is no rush. That being said, I'm pretty excited for you, since getting started (even planning things out) is a lot of fun.
Honestly, I am not a big anime fan. I only watched few old-school animes (Akira, Cowboy-bebop, NGE, Etc...) But I still find incredible the figures shelf and the amount of love and dedication you have put into your hobby! Really love the vibes and the room in general! Great video.
The most precise (yet concise) of any room tour I ever seen - your attention to details is really 💯. On limited spaces, you have inspired me to emulate some of the components. On that note my custom-Moducase has yet to come still, 1 years 4 months and waiting 😂 Thank you for showcasing!
Thanks! Yeah, I am pretty happy with how this tour turned out, also has been interesting to see how things have evolved over the years. And that is crazy you have been waiting on 1 year and 4 months, are they building everything by hand? Do you have a bunch of figures still in their boxes waiting on the display cases? Hopefully, you get them soon.
l like that room so much, every thing is organized and the light is very calm, the decoration is matching and completing the vibes,,, overall it’s like you brought the manga and anime world in your room ❤️🥰😍
How you've set up your figure collections, with the backdrops and little details is fantastic, top-tier I wanna do that sort of thing too. Not personally as big a fan of all the particular figures, but you did have some I'm looking to get, such as that Metallia one, The Persona 5 shelf, Rimuru, Albedo, Raphtalia and I never even knew about that Cowboy Bebop one, that is awesome! The book collection, i.e, Graphic Novels and the mangas were great. Some good taste there.
For the backdrop, since WickedBrick no longer sells backdrops, I would recommend checking out posterninja.com/, and getting a printed poster board. This allows you to select customized sizes to fit whatever display case you use. For props, I would recommend checkout out Etsy (dollhouse props tend to work, just check out the size of the object before buying). Local crafting stores also provide nice props that can be used such as fake foliage, stones, trees, and other odds and ends.
I found your channel and feel like I've walked into Gojo's Hina doll shop from My Dress Up Darling... Your collection is just... Beautiful. Even though I had no interest in this hobby before now I find myself wanting to start a collection because of you and your art. And that's what you have. It's art. I can tell you care deeply about it and can see all the work you put into it. Thank you for touching my heart!
I'm really happy that I was able to give you a bit if inspiration toward collecting. I definitely have found it a fun hobby that has brought me a lot of joy and allows me to be a bit creative. The best advice I can give when first getting into this hobby is to take it slow. And if you have any questions, please let me know. ☺
What an absolutely engaging hobby room 😮. It's like a combination of figure museum, manga library and modern comfort with fluorescent themed background giving a stunning and dashing looks of futuristic vibe. Hmmm...may I offer you a suggestion? Perhaps adding a zen fountain-with gentle running water, plushes from animation and small bonsai tree might soothes the mood even more in case you get tired of starring all those neon lights. Having plants reduces the negative chi(energy) from the surrounding electrical devices. 😊
Nah, just when i thought after years of contemplating that i had a decent enough room to showcase for the channel, bro comes and completely shatters my confidence with his mancave.
I say do your room tour, I can already imagine you have an amazing room. I have watched a lot of room tour videos, and so many blow mine out of the water. I do want to say that watching other people's room tours always got me excited about the hobby, and I'm sure your room tour will have impact to others as well. ☺
You can also hide destop icons with wallpaper engine. if you have some spare programable keys, you can even set them to a combination and then toggle the desktop icons on and off by simply pressing them.
This video popped up in my recommended and holy shit what a wonderful room. It's not just the figures or equipment but the attention the lighting and just overall care put into everything. It's definitely a dream room for sure
Very clean and organized room & collection! I really like the custom backgrounds and designs you made for the shelves. I have the same idea when I start displaying my figures.
This is beautiful and surreal!! I can't imagine the amount of cleaning or upkeep this would take. But maybe you don't even need to do that. Amazing room! You have, what I would say, is a piece of paradise! The figure dioramas and the way you put each together is just perfection!!
First time on this channel and at the cost of sounding corny, i really appreciate the quality of this video as well as how everything is organised in your room, it shows you worked hard and have your life together. Hopefully i can manage something like this in the future , this truly feels like a home! Something i always wanted to see from these sort of channels ( as well as channels that show their racing sim rigs) . Is more information about their careers, how they achieved financial stability and to fund building their dream rooms Alot we can learn! Hope your channel grows
It is definitely my favorite art piece in my collection. For those that are interested in it, you can get it here: www.quirkilicious.shop/product-page/battle-angel
This is gorgeous! I work from home (but I rent) and am in the process of furnishing and decorating my "office" (second bedroom). I'm going for what I call an "industrial-esque" design since the apartments in my area don't look industrial at all (and the few that do are quite expensive and are downtown away from the stuff I'd want to be close to, like grocery stores). My living room is already reflecting this style slowly but surely but I've barely started on the office. And I'm now happy for that as I'm getting more ideas of what I might want to do! For example, I've been mulling over and over what style I want for my book shelf, as my second function for the office is to be a library. I was thinking of getting a shelf that's just open on all sides, but I really like your black book shelves. Having a back to the shelves means I'm not beholden to the paint color/paint job behind the shelves to help with the presentation (I've lived in apartments with old "white" paint and then pale yellow/tannish paint and didn't like either color but couldn't paint. My current location has light grey walls, which I like much more). I also really like that your room is relatively bright without ever turning on an overhead light and have been looking into doing something similar. Because of the fact that I have a regular "9 to 5" job, I find myself just wanting to escape that room once work is over and barely go in there on the weekends. I want to make the space more inviting so that I do stay in there to read or relax or do some hobbies like scrapbooking or trying to get better at crocheting. Your room looks so cozy and I wouldn't want to leave such a relaxing space, lol. This has given me some ideas for my space, so thank you for the video!
That's awesome. I'm glad I was able to give you some ideas. And yes, I agree with you about the ambient lighting makes it more inviting to relax after a long day at work. I'm exciting you are in the process of setting up your room, it's definitely a fun thing to work through. Let me know if you have any questions. ☺
Hello! I loved you set up! it's truly mind blowing! what rooms tours channels or gaming set up channels you usually watch, I would like to have more motivation like your!
Your room is and has been quite some inspiration to me, how I want to decorate my home. It's all on a lower scale in terms of pc setup, amount of figures...but regardless, I enjoy the vibe of these modern type of nerd cave xD
I'm glad it is inspirational. And we all got to start somewhere. I think I watched KenKen's room tour years ago before I really started collecting and was like "Wow, that's amazing! Wish I could have a room like that!" And years later, while I'm a bit closer, it's still not as epic nor the same as Kenken's room. But it's still nice to have something to work towards. Haha
This gave me a lot of inspiration on how i plan to build my room thanks for the tour of your gaming room~ all looks good and neat clean no messy wire setup good job!!
I have already seen quite a few rooms with more figurines than that, however in terms of the quality of the presentation of the different figurines, this one is one of the most beautiful that I have seen. With the different backgrounds, the pebbles and crystals, the mirrors, etc., the highlighting of certain figurines is really great, and I prefer to see "a few" quality figurines and carefully staged than an incredible collection of lots of figurines of all kinds piled on top of each other on a shelf to the point that we can no longer see them properly. Same thing for mangas, I've seen much more impressive collections, but this is presented properly. Not like my collection of over 7000 mangas with some in boxes in the attic :D.
I agree on quality presentation over quantity. The room has a lot of stuff in it, but it doesn't feel cluttered, which makes it feel really relaxing for me. That said, I have had to package manga and figures up because I lacked enough space to present them properly. I guess that is part of collecting, that you are constantly battling with space, haha.
Mans litteraly has my dream room setup. I am at the baby level right now with few a small manga collection and double monitor gaming setup and other things. Hopefully i can get it to look like this
no need to change this beautiful setup from the figures case, to the anime/manga, to the entertainment room and gaming setup chefs kiss! this is the ultimate setup GG
This room is so beautiful!!! I love the dioramas. I started collecting mangas this year and I started with The Promised Neverland. It's amazing. This room is definitely an inspiration.
guy is living my dream, edit: your taste in figures is immaculate. perfect, down to the minute detail my goodness, you not only know of but have Ibitsu as a physical book. GOATED beyond measure
Wow, this room tour is an absolute dream! 😍 I'd love to style my room in a similar way, but I just don't have the space - and with my cats, I can't leave anything loose lying around. The details and entire vibe of your room are just amazing! And the way you've displayed the figures is so inspiring! ❤ Just incredible how awesome it all looks! 👌👏
Thanks! And I can understand cats situation. I only let my 2 cats into the room when I'm in the room, and most of the time they just want to look out the windows. But then there are times they want to be stupid... like walking behind the display cases and getting stuck... or behind the TV and fight with the cables.... or climbing the bookshelves to pull down the Berserk bag (they really like it for some reason). The figures in the display cases keep pretty safe. Figures on bookshelves have putty under them, so they don't move.
@@Battletide. Haha, I almost envy you - luckily, ours leave the cables alone, but as soon as they get bored, they go after any figures that are out. 😅 My Asuna figure has already taken a few bites and even got knocked down, so I’ve decided to keep all figures in display cases from now on! Our books are also stored in cabinets to keep them from being used as scratching posts. 😆 That tip with the putty is awesome, thank you! Maybe it’ll keep the figures in place… at least until the next mischief pops into their little cat brains. ^^
Hi there! I don't know what you do, meaning to say that what follows is meant to un-ironically be a true compliment: your room is thoughtful and stunning, the design both serene and mysterious. Your Anime figures are heirlooms, and everything about this deserves to be featured in Architectural Digest or another design feature about the creativity and digital inspirations of today... Absolutely incredible 💪💯😍
Thank you! I'm glad you liked the room. There was definitely a lot of thought and care that went into bringing it all together, so I appreciate the compliment. ☺
This is probably one of the coolest rooms I’ve seen in a while! Love the collections. I just converted my tiny closet a small gaming room, maybe one day I can get on your level…much love, can’t wait to see what you add next
Oh, such memories of childhood, lol. I remember what feels like 20 years ago when I was collecting the Fullmetal Alchemist books. I got into the series while they were still actively writing the books. I watched the original show, before Brotherhood was even a thing, and then reading the manga on the side. It was interesting to compare the two stories. To this day I've never actually watched Brotherhood. And while I enjoy the manga, I really loved how the movie Conquerer of Shamballa ended. How it was the alternate reality. I saw some Warcraft merch, so not sure if this guy play FFXIV, but Shadowlands felt like it was mirroring Conquerer of Shamballa. It was soooo surreal. That's probably one of my favorite anime movies, and I'm sure it never gets a lot of love, because it contradicts the Brotherhood series. But seeing Hughes back, and seeing the mirror world just felt liminal in a lot of ways. --- I've since given away all of my Manga except for my Fullmetal collection, and I still keep my first Naruto book. I remember way, way, way back in the dark ages before cellphones in like 2002, it was possible to buy a Naruto book for 5 dollars and 50 cents American, so I'd always pick em up like they were the morning newspaper, and read it throughout the day. Now it feels like you can't touch a book for less than 10 bucks.
HAHA, omg. Beyond the FMA books, I do have a few others I bought recently, and you have like all of them on the same freaking shelf, what are the odds? I recently picked up the Alita collection, Ghost in the Shell, and the Silent Voice books, although I've yet to read them. I SHOULD get the Nausicaa ones as they're the inspiration for my account tag.
Your room looks absolutely dope. Amazing inspiration! Thank you for providing the details of the cases, and the LED lighting used, too. I'm looking to getting a case from IKEA also and have been really wondering what to do for lighting 🤔The RGB tones really work well in making it a relaxing environment but also highlighting the books and figures well, too. Love it!
The information that you put on your video ! Oh my god insane setup and video and content quality with tons of informations like piece by piece ❤️🔥 love it.
Your room is absolutely stunning, a solid 10/10! I doubt I could ever afford something as luxurious. Perhaps in another lifetime, I'll be fortunate enough to have one like it.
I'm impressed how you create your own den, especially with the figurine cabinets. It's just feels a bit wasted that you put your awesome looking PC on the floor
Bro got every single mangas... AND ALL THE FIGURE I wanted to buy since years XD This is so impressive that more of 50 percent of what you bought were on my favorites lists ahah Nice video btw, and happy that you managed to live and buy everything you want. Your room looks so cool
