sooooo hey guys! i am currently on the hottest train off to do my first work experience placement this summer 🤨😆😅 such a nightmare journey but i have just scrolled through the comments and it seems you guys are very interested in my rank 🤔 i don’t mind sharing this but i am just worried about how people will interpret the video i.e. i don’t want to sound ‘full of myself’ if you know what i mean? ALSO would you be interested in hearing about my CAREER CHOICES? (hint hint hence the work experience) ⁉️

82%?! That's ridiculous girl! I've heard that anything over 80% is of publishable standard so you should be more than proud, especially given the hardships you went through during exam season.

One of the great things about Holly's videos is that they light a path for anyone who wants to know how to 'crack' university study. It's all here: the enthusiasm, the organisation, the study patterns, the priority-setting, the maintaining of outside interests - all put together in easy installments with great cheerfulness and a lot of style. Congratulations to Holly on her results (of course!) but also thanks so much for the example to so many over the whole journey! (Rankings? Shmankings! Follow your own inclinations, girl! If you think it's hassle or potentially pressure, don't feel that you have to 'share' yourself and your life to the point of exhaustion. We're not fools - an average of over 80% is pretty damn rare - we all know that.) Looking forward, I thik it would be wonderful if you could talk a bit more about your subjects. Obviously, it's not necessarily a huge crowd-pleaser but it would give a bit more depth to the study of Biology at uni.

Gratulations Holly, I am so happy that you got the results you hoped for :) I did my Abitur this year (I think it's kind of the German version of english A-Level :D ) and I was watching your Vlogs through the entire time. At some days I felt really stressed and felt like I couldn't squeeze any more in my brain. But your vlogs and your honesty motivated me every time so that I was able to continue studying. Thank you so much for your videos and the effort you put into them, they helped me a lot. I got my results a few weeks ago and I did better than I expected and I am so happy about it. My grade is a 1,8 which is very good in the German grade system. I just wanted to say thank you for helping me through my exams, and let you know how much you helped me the last months :)

Congratulations Holly! I know this is unrelated, but to everyone reading this please SAVE WATER!! You CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! You can save water by: 1) Turning the tap off while you brush your teeth 2) Taking shorter showers. 3) Prioritise: is that water fight really as important as having water for DRINKING and growing CROPS? Many people haven't got clean water to drink, how would they feel if they saw you wasting such a precious resource?

Congratulations :) It's always great to know that the hard work paid off. I'll be doing my exams in the middle of September, so I'll still have some time for learning stuff. Sadly I also need to do a oral exam in the middle of November and I get all of my results after that oral exam :(

For those people wondering..... 0-40% is a fail, 40-50% is a 3rd, 50-60% is a 2:2, 60-70% is a 2:1, and 70+ is a 1st. So for someone to get 80+ is an amazing mark! Basically the same as getting A+ I believe (not sure how grading works in American universities). Congratulations Holly, you really deserved it! x

I’m also in second year (not Cambridge haha I’m not smart enough for that) I had 4 units this year; I got 79, 74, 70 and 69. I’m really proud of myself but also annoyed that I’m 1% off in my last unit, oh well my average for the year is 73 😊 Your results are incredible and I aspire to achieve grades like yours!

You're a superstar, congratulations :). You said that you only have 3 modules a year? That sounds amazing - must be really able to focus in and not divide your attention so much. We have we have 4 modules per term at Warwick, although some modules carry over so it's 6 for the year. Very distracting way of doing things. Congrats again and enjoy your summer! :)

I can't believe you only need 70% to get a first in England. In Australia you need 80% for a first 70-79% for a second, 60-69% for a third and 50-59% passe. Fail is 49% and below.
