What kind of Doctor did you see? I find that my pcp keeps saying it’s all good but I know something is off, possibly my cortisol. I did lab work but it all came back fine - but I don’t feel fine.

I see a holistic doctor in the integrative medical department at Sutter. If you don't feel fine SOMETHING is going on! Listen to your body! I have been blown off by so many doctors it's so frustrating that it takes so long to get someone who listens. But they are out there! Good luck!

Morning I do exactly the same as you... early morning workout 💪 u at 4 this morning because I have to fit it in around other commitments... and if I don't do it at 4 -5 o'clock it won't get done... glad I found your video 💪👍

I feel like intermittent fasting messed up my hormones. Even though I felt really good, anything I would do (eating healthy and working out everyday), I stayed at the same weight.

Fasting definitely spiked my cortisol more than I needed especially last year. I might give it another try at some point once I get my hormones balanced again! What have you been doing to help your hormones?

Hi! Welcome to the community!! I was fasting all last year to help heal my gut and autoimmune condition. But my cortisol levels were so high that my holistic doctor had me stop fasting because it was causing my cortisol levels to spike to high.

Thanks for your reply. I have a similar story to you as I have psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis along with celiac disease.. So do you eat breakfast now? And do you think that helps with cortisol? I also wonder if having coffee on an empty stomach could be spiking my cortisol and I noticed you have collagen creamer in your coffee... Have you found that helps?

@@ShardaAdolph drinking black coffee or coffee with sugar on an empty stomach can definitely spike your cortisol first thing in the morning. I talked with my holistic doctor and I drink 1 cup of 1/2 caffinated coffee with collagen creamer and she says that she doesn't feel like it's causing a problem. I do eat breakfast and focus on getting at least 30 grams of high quality protein in first thing in the morning. The collagen in my coffee helps balance me a lot. I don't get gittery at all and it helps fuel my workouts first thing in the morning. I love it!
