So pleased you mentioned God! Honestly there's no way I would have got through this without God. It's made me so dependent on Him. I've had chronic mono for 10 months. I've been in bed the whole time. I also have chronic pharyngitis. I need to sleep a lot and can only do a small amount of things each day (and i love to do loads of things). What makes me feel better is 1) giving myself grace and not getting frustrated with myself 2) believing the Lord will heal me 3) declaring scripture over my life 4) not caring what people think (cause it can look like laziness. haha but it isn't 5) letting go of control and letting God take control 6) having really good close friends who will talk with you through the process step by step and be really good listeners 7) plan ahead 8) put on worship music or make music to the Lord 9) continue believing that nothing is impossible with God for those who believe. Thank you for your video.

I had chronic mono and was one of the first patients diagnosed 1990. I had it bad and couldn’t get out of bed. I am a molecular biologist and got it during college too. A Georgetown famous virologists wrote a paper on my case. He gave me IgA injections and it immediately cured me on the first shot. It was considered a chemotherapy treatment and is hard on kidneys. I also drank green juice and forced myself to walk to get my limp ha moving. I was the worst experience of my life. I used a Nordic track at home. I just saw info that COVID and mono are a deadly combo so take care. Even the vaccine can hurt patients. Prayers

It has been a while but it was Interferon injections. I gave up sugar and bread and anything with yeast. I drank green juice everyday and forced myself to walk on a Nordic Track to get my lymph’s moving. I could only do a minute at first but I got stronger. Good luck and 🙏🏻 prayers.

@@geminiflower I never had mono again. I avoid anything with sugar and avoid stress. If I feel sick I drink fresh squeezed juice and green juice. Viruses tend to comeback when the immune system id down. I had a lot of support from other sufferers at the time. It is a difficult illness especially when you are young and need to get so much done.

Hi Alice, Thank you for sharing your story! IgA injection is considered a Human Interferon Treatment? I know the question is silly, but I am trying to really understand how you were healed. Moreover, the IgA injection you took in the early 90's was an unconventional treatment for that day and probably still difficult to access today for EBV sufferers? Basically, the IgA injection suppressed the virus, which was crucial for your healing and aside from some minor life style changes you have been EBV free 30+ years due majorly to the injection? I have had EBV for the past 7 month and it has recked my life so far lol. It has hijacked my DNA and begun the aging process. Its a pretty devilish virus. Therefore, I try to dive deep into interesting unconventional solutions for EBV just like yours. Thank you so much! Michael Biela.

I’ve had it reactivated for a year and a half now. I’m 68 and last time I first got it I was 13 and it was a couple months of recovering. Never thought I’d get it again. Stress has definitely caused mine to reactivate. Our last few years have taken a toll on many. All your symptoms are right on and how you explain what we should do is truth. Blessings.

We are NOT lazy! It's an invisible illness and doesn't have a name people can understand. If we told people It's cancer, opinions would be much more kind, even compassionate. People tend to belittle things they don't understand. We have to let go of needing validation for how our body feels. At least I did. I listen to my body much better now...since I stopped caring what others think. Just yesterday, I napped all afternoon (4 hrs). No guilt or shame. It's freeing.

Two things that I found out from Doctor Berg: EBV blocks zinc and vitamin D. I find sunshine far superior to vitamin D supplements. Now for my story - I hope it helps you! I first got EBV in college at age 19. I was so sick that I was hallucinating despite never having taken drugs or being on any medication. I told my roommate that I would die if I did not get on a plane and go home. When I got off the plane, my own parents did not recognize me. It took 18 months or so to get "normal" strength back, but I have struggled with tiredness for many years. Despite that, I coached baseball for around 20 years, taught HS and Collège for over 30 years. I have written 8 books. I am still teaching in my 70s. I just had a really bad outbreak of EBV. Everything in your presentation is right on target. Maybe someday God will heal us, but until then, we have to do the things you said and know it will all work out. I have come to realize that although this is difficult, many people have it much worse than we do. This is our life and we can make the best of it. ALL things work together for our good. I made it and you will to. Keep smiling your beautiful smile!

Pressure headache for 2 months, joint and muscle pain, numb legs sometimes, extreme fatigue, pain/fullness in spleen area of abdomen, memory issues, chest pains, mild sore throat, mild fever comes and goes, and anxiety due to no concrete diagnosis. This has been going off and on for 2 years now its agony, I'm usually unstoppable and rarely sick and now I'm useless.

Dr. Berg recommended supporting your immune system with high douses of vitamin D and lots of vegetables. Keep up on everything you can to improve immune health. Lots of sleep, exercise, healthy Lowe carb vitamin/fiber heavy diet… and gradually increasing physical exertion as an athlete would if you have chronic fatigue.

Valtrex has been really helpful for me. EBV is in the herpes family and Valtrex inhibits part of its reproduction. It’s so weird to me it’s considered off label use or somehow a controversial diagnosis. My ID doctor diagnosed me in my first vist. When I have a flare I go back on it and tapper it off when my symptoms go away. Feverish, fatigue, sore throat and red tonsils as well as the post nasal drip are my biggest symptoms. I’m just recovering from a flare triggered by stress and grief. I noticed this time as well that I had more pimples beforehand and my digestion was off so hopefully next time I’ll start the Valtrex before I’m in a full flare. Thank you for sharing your experience!

Thank you for sharing this, it’s hard finding those who can share their journey with EBV. I started testing active in 2019, my blood work has shown that it has been active for over 2 years, I will find out soon if I am going on my 3rd year of testing positive, hoping it’s gone dormant. It has caused me to test positive for ANA/Systemic Lupus- from my research CAEBV often triggers Autoimmune issues so I believe it’s caused the Lupus. I also struggle with similar things- fatigue, weakness, brain fog, body aches. I’ll have flair ups. I hope you get relief soon!

I was diagnosed with Epstein Barr in December. I was able to get it under control, but since I t’s linked to stress, that’s difficult. I’m a teacher so after every quarter when I get the opportunity to rest, I get a flare up which just takes me out. Swelling lymph nodes, lethargy, and. A mess of other symptoms from either the virus or just stress of having to deal with it. I feel somewhat hopeless and fearful if I’m being honest. I don’t know what to do or keep doing… I think leaving my job for something less stressful would help but I tend to be a stressed person regardless. Thanks for talking about this. I just needed to know I’m not alone.

Hi. What I have discovered is EBV is still "active" infection even now, so it's been 3 yrs straight. Honestly, it has interrupted my life so badly that I can't work anymore. The fatigue, Dizziness, muscle weakness, and brain fog keep me limited in any physical capacity. Plus, I run low grade fever every afternoon (100°). I work from home now, but still cannot do full-time. My immune system is weak, so I get infection easily. Do you guys get headaches? It has also really messed up my gastro system! I do walk twice a day, even if just 15 min each time.

I get occasional fevers when I overdo it… my band played outside in 90 degree weather (oof) and the next few days I had a low grade fever. It’s like the immune system is responding to the flare up of EBV due to stressors. Like, oh there’s an infection! Let’s kill it with heat. But then the EBV hides again? That’s my best guess.

I also followed an autoimmune paleo diet for two months and then reintroduced foods back in one at a time with 3 days between. I cannot eat gluten or dairy anymore and I won’t drink alcohol again. I have gotten off of all meds except the levothyroxine but the does has been lowered to the smallest dose and my TSH continues to improve, so there is a chance I may get off of that too.

My test results for EBV VCA IgM was 36 (equivocal). EBV Early Antigen was 48.70 (positive). EBV VCA IgG was 615 (positive) and EBV Nuclear Antigen was > 600 (positive). Stress is not the only trigger, your body could be fighting other viral infections that make it harder to keep the EBV under control. Valacyclovir is used as an off label treatment. I also recommend a stimulant medication (Adderall, Dexedrine, etc..) these are given to people with Narcolepsy and often for chronic fatigue as well.

Teas vary in strength and one brand can be five times stronger than another. Also, how long before sleep should the tea be consumed? If Holy Basil is the active ingredient of the tea, why not take a Holy Basil supplement? I tried a Holy Basil supplement of 1600mg, it had no effect. Does that mean there is some mysterious ingredient in Holy Basil tea that is absent in Holy Basil supplements? Thanks.

Hello, how do you know it's chronic or just recurring? I've been IgG VCA positive and IgM VCA negative back in 2016, i had to test it because of chronically enlarged lymph nodes. Which indicated past Mono/EBV infection, i redid the test month later and was positive once again. However now 6 years later, lymph nodes are still here, so i redid the EBV test and i have >750U/ml IgG, which is crazy high, and IgM is positive too which indicates active EBV infection. I'm really confused because i've read that chronic ebv is really rare, and dangerous, but i feel fine for the most part. Lightly increased body temperature (37.2-37.3), always cold too, and neck lymph nodes. And yeah my sleep schedule is horrific, i often get less than 5 hours.

@@ArubaRedOfficial I started with 16 oz of celery juice daily in the morning on an empty stomach probably in late November or early December and started to notice some energy improvement by Christmas. I gradually started adding more of the Medical Medium recommendations (especially lemon water and heavy metal detox smoothie and I increased to 32 oz of celery juice.) I then added some supplements (lysine, vit. C, etc.) and by mid to late March I was noticing that I was walking much farther than I used to, and now I am walking maybe 2 km/day. Before I started following Medical Medium suggestions I had to order my groceries because I couldn't walk around a grocery store. I'd had chronic fatigue syndrome off and on for 2 years. Stress will cause mild setbacks in my energy, but I no longer think of myself as being particularly unwell. So, I would say it took me maybe 5 - 6 months to have a semi-normal amount of energy and I believe this will continue to improve because it's still so early in the journey and I haven't been very consistent with the supplements. I also haven't tried a cleanse yet. I am 57 years old. I'm glad I have been an encouragement to you and I hope you make a rapid and complete recovery very soon!

@All-Father-Odin-967
@All-Father-Odin-967 Год назад
@@STIRFRY89 Good morning to you. My grandfather and grandmother used it every day. She was a homeopathic doctor and he was an engineer, electronics, and all that good stuff. They would always say, "when you feel sick, take iodine." This is echoed through out medical history, as iodine is what the body needs. If you start with a patch test. Just put two drops on your forearm, and rub it into a small square. If it is still there in 24 hours then you have no deficiency, if it's not then that's your body deficient. There are so many great articles on it, books, and even free pdf's on the web. I take 5 drops a day. I would suggest the following to start with. Month 1. 1 drop a day monday to friday. Have two days off. If you get a rash, that is your body secreting toxins, as fluoride, choline, and bromide that they poison our food and water with bind to the same cellular function as iodine. They know this as iodine is required by the body and they poison the body. After you have drank the 1 drop a day, take selenium supplements 200mg as this is a cofactor to lugols iodine. Also increase you salt intake. Hi quality salt such as Sea Salt as the salt bind to the toxins that your body is rejecting. Month 2. Monday to Wednesday 1 drop Thursday to Sunday 2 drops Remember selenium and salt. Month 3 If by month three you have had no rash or detox then: Monday 1 drop Tuesday 2 drops Wednesday 3 drops Thursday 4 drops Friday 5 drops Saturday and sunday 0 If you have any massage oil mix a 25% iodine to the oil. If you're male rub the mixed iodine to oil on your testicles and perineum. This will convert the iodine into free and available testosterone and increase the size of your testicles. If you're a female then rub the mixed oil over your breasts and ovaries to clear any cysts. At month 6 I started to take 5 drops a day. My patch test still shows I am deficient in it. Yet, my dry skin has gone, my chest, lymphatic system, and body is recovering from the mould toxicity. My lumps on my testicles (cysts) have gone along with the ones on my prostate. For me, I am sticking with it for the rest of my life. The old ways appear to work. The only side effects are the body dumps out all the poisons and crap we have absorbed and if that's what I had to go through then I shall enter that space with trust and joy as i feel.so much better. Please, keep me posted and ask anything you like. I will speak openly and speak of what I experienced.

My Epstein Barr started 21 years ago when I was 17 years old. I was one of the “lucky” cases that had the enlarged spleen and then it all escalated into Jaundice & liver failure. I needed a transfusion, and almost died. Then just 3 years later I caught Lyme disease, and was treated late. These things compound each other. Before the Lyme I would only see EBV reactivation with extreme stress or illness. Since I have added COVID delta to my resume, and have ongoing symptoms specific to that, and then other weirdness probably associated with all three diseases.

Hello all. Question for the group. How is it determined whether you have chronic EBV reactivation or chronic active EBV? Sounds like chronic active is worse than chronic reactivation. Thanks in advance
@Oblisk
@Oblisk Год назад
Hope you are doing better now. I’ve recently got a reactivation of mono/EBV, and I’ve been doing a lot of research, and I’ve came across that EBV could be caused from nutrient deficiencies. These deficiencies could be caused from diet, such as foods that are high in anti nutrients such as grains and certain vegetables like nightshades. These anti nutrients in the long term can bind to minerals within the gut and cause deficiencies. Another thing that could cause these deficiencies is a lack of enzymatic production, which I’ve found that mega does of Thiamine (vitamin B1) can help restore these enzymatic functions from the neurological side of things, which can then increase nutrient absorption, breakdown of carbs, and stress, as stress is known to deplete B1. I just ordered a form called Benfotiamine, which is a form of B1 that can cross the blood brain barrier, making it more absorbed into the body. If you are interested in learning more about this, EONutrition here on RU-vid focuses on the effects of B1 mega dosing. About to try this and hope it can be the pinnacle of getting this in check.

I never had mono. I had my Epstein Barr "attack" in September 2004. Verrrry debilitating. Many unneeded tests followed before my Dr. casually asked if he had tested for EBV. Ummm, no. So he did. Office called, told my husband the positive results, and that there was nothing they could do. But, fortunately, his wife, a PA, did care and due to pain she prescribed me the brand new drug Cymbalta because it has a med for pain. It worked!!! It addresses most of the symptoms. They have no idea why and I can't quit taking it. Symptoms come right back. I have always worked FT. 20 years later, the top 3 symptoms that just won't quit are: #1 Crappy quality of sleep. #2 No matter how much I sleep I am always tired. #3 Dizziness I just take a licking and keep on ticking. ~Lisa 55y

For me it was killing yeast and/or fungal overgrowth in my digestive track, many suffer from this due to high sugar and or alcohol intake or processed foods and pesticides. I have something called chronic active EBV. This is why a mono spot will be negative but your active antibody will be positive. People with this need their PCR/DNA done to check their viral load.
