From what I’m seeing it’s most likely the battery. Did you ever change it? I had a similar problem with an Acura I own. I work on my own vehicles & the battery terminals were dirty. All the problems your car is complaining about points to what I mentioned earlier. Plus, at 600k miles I’m impressed that this car is almost a million miles. Lastly, learn how to work on cars bro. Working on Honda/Acura vehicles are dead simple & super cheap. You could do all the work the dealership has been doing for a fraction of the crazy prices they’re charging.
@@MrSamPhoenix Good points! I'll be giving an update on what it happens in the next video. The battery terminals were clean. I'm on my third battery. I hope the car last 1 million miles. Might get a new car for all the promotion Honda will get lol. I know how to work on cars. I just chose not to, and so I have a credentialed repair history for take and Honda Corporate acknowledgement. Unsurprisingly new Honda parts are more expensive today. Thanks for watching! 😁
Disconnect the battery for 5 mins and connect it back. Ik sounds like a dumb thing I had this exact same problem and it fixed it self. Doing this is like a computer reset. I have 2016 honda civic ex hope its just something this simple.
@@Imleocalm I feel you, just keep in mind that the battery terminals might look clean… but the sometimes dirt particles make on the mentioned terminals & could cause havoc with the vehicle’s systems. That’s what happened to my Acura at least, I cleaned the terminals & added Vaseline to them to keep it from happening again… yes Vaseline smh lol. But keep us updated!
I agree with you! I would replace the battery. Alternator is likely fine. My ‘13 civic had alternator go out and I replaced with Honda oem which cost me over 700 (part only) so 1k for alternator and install is probably about right.
