I wanna do this to my 97 extended cab. id love to see the bracket for the seats. Blueprint wise, placement of the oem mounts and where the new ones mount on the bracket.
I had a spotless 96 crew cab long bed F350 with a 7.3 and a 5spd, clean and I mean clean. The only real reason I sold it was I started missing the newer style creature comforts. Now I see guys doing this or like what DeBoss Garage did and really kick myself in the ass for selling that truck.
Some really cool stuff here. I like what you did with the fronts and console. Thanks for the ideas and information My newest truck is a 96 f350 7.3 crew cab dually. Perfect all around…except the interior makes your old one look brand new. I’d even settle for the interior my 06 has.
Dude, I love your videos. I’ve been subscribed for a long time, back in the “stab in cabin” days. I have a 68 fb mustang that I have swapped an 07 Shelby gt500 drive line in. I’d love to have you come sort out that harness. I know you’d kill it. And clean! Great work, Man!
I have the 11 to 16 vinyl seats in my truck. Matches perfect to the Grey interior. I want to do the full console one day because I love those consoles. Yours looks great other than the gap in the dash. I'll get one one day and find a way to match it to the dash seamlessly. All in all though, great video. Learned a great deal and got some great ideas!
I just picked up a 92 f250 7.3 idi out of South Carolina and I’m making my list on a complete overhaul on interior. Would this work like it did for yours? Also this video is hands down Awsome on the information you gave us going step by step.
Nice to meet a IDI brother. I bought a 94 7.3 idi Turbo about 2 years ago and have been working on it off and on. Now it looks brand with all chrome bright work replaced new bed and had it painted the original Jewel Green metallic. The truck looks brand new. I will say this. Though the truck needed a lot of work it had just had a new trans installed and the engine ran strong as heck. It set for a long time while all the bodywork was being done, but once complete I encountered a problem. I could take off from a start and 500 feet down the road it would cough and stall. If I waited 2-3 minutes it would start again. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why this was happening. I had never worked on a diesel before. I took it to several places and they didn't want to touch it. So I had to learn myself. I found an air intrusion in the fuel filter top where the heater heats the fule. That problem was solved with a 3 cent oring. That helped but didn't solve the problem. I ran clear tubing on the fuel lines to make sure there was no more air in the lines. I now checked all the fuel lines back to the 2 tanks and couldn't see a problem. I then decided to remove the bed to access the fuel feeds, in the tanks and discovered that the filters on the fuel pickups had completely dissolved and I saw little black chips of plastic in both tanks that were getting sucked into the fuel feeds., and causing the total problem. www.amazon.com/4C4Z-9365-BA-Fuel-Strainer-Powerstroke-E5TZ-9J306-BA/dp/B083Q4H759 If you ever have a problem this could be it. They send you two long strainers with it I have no idea what they are used for. They list these for powerstroke but they are the same for the IDI 7.3 as well. The problem was solved for under 20.00 These engines can last for 4-500K if you take care of them. Good luck to you Bro
Great install by the way. I was just thinking of putting 03-06 seats in my 98 Expedition because they are allegedly a direct bolt in, but now I'm thinking I may do something like you did.
Very nice install. I know some others have asked, but could you point us to the source of the wiring harness? Cables and fuse blocks, etc. I've searched but I'm having trouble finding something like that. Apologies if its posted already and I just missed it.
I’m looking to do something similar in my 03 f350 regular cab dually that has a bench seat with the manual adjustable slide to move it forward and back. I’m looking to put a black heat and cooling rear seat from a 17-22 platinum into my truck. But I’m planning on trying to swap the platinum rear seats onto my 03 bench seat sliding frame. I’m thinking of bolting the platinum seats to the 03 seats or make some plates to bolt them together.
Hey man I’m not gonna lie I really need help right now, I’m puttin 2012 king ranch seats in my 1999, I got the driver side all hooked up and working from ur video, I figured the passenger side was the same thing to cut all the plugs and look at ur diagram to hook up the wire and get power from switch to the motors but the colors aren’t the same on the passenger side I need help 😊

I have 97 crew cab I intend on doing this to my truck my question for you is on mine I believe to put it in 4wd low you have to press in on the shifter how did you by pass that?
is the sound deadener you use or the combos of more then one that you use do it top secret or something? I'm running out of time and will be ready to reinstall the dash soon and liked how much burnt toast quieted down and iv asked like 5 times now even in the newest videos or if you talked about it in a video witch one was it? you started in toast then skipped it lol. im deleteing the last post so theres not 2. thanks for sharing
I see in all your videos so far you put the 08-16 mirrors on the 99-07 trucks. Are you working on a way to put the 17- present mirrors on? I know it can be done but I'd rather buy a plug and play kit rather that figure it out my self.
05+ can fit the 17+ mirrors on plug and play, it’s the older trucks 99-04? that your mirror lights won’t work but everything else will, obviously besides the extend and fold features, which you’d need the 08+ door panels for anyway
