I'm prepared for the abuse. So your questioning the Golf R for being 45k yet that 695 Bisposto is on sale for 25k which you said is 20k less than new so that Fiat 500 with nothing in it cost 45k?! I'm probably missing something? Great video as always, really enjoy your work!👍
To be honest, since I have been watching you, I think the Abarth was your favorite car that you have owned, you really seemed to enjoy it and have fun with it, you should buy it back.

I don't think the Golf R is boring, I just think it's the best hot hatch from £35k ish. You see alot cause it's the most obvious choice. I think it has a broader spectrum of capabilities and better looking than a Focus RS, i30N or even a M140i (which I love), it's cheaper than an S3 for the same car, and alot cheaper than an A45 or RS3 (From base price).

Just picked up my girlfriends Fiat 500 Collezione and the amount of abarths they had at the dealership was awesome. After seeing some really nice specs I’d love to have a go in one. Great video as always Sam.
I WAS so happy that the Abarth is back!!! Untill I saw the video I used to be like many not a fan of the Abarth because it is a special fiat 500. But this has been totally changed by you. Since you bought the Abarth and showed me what a special car this is, I think the best car you've ever had. Such a relatively cheap car with 1 thing which almost no car under 50 000 has, character. Through you them I aim that one day in my life I should have a series 4 Abarth 595 Competizione. Maybe even the new series 5 or 6 that is still to come, but then it has to be nicer and better than the serious series 4, which is difficult. I hope you will buy another Abarth onece in youre life, Beste bang-for-buck-sportscar
Now that you’ve tried the Golf R (which is by no mean a bad car), you should give a try to the M140i. I think you’ll find it much more rewarding to drive!
We recently replaced our S Tronic S3 with a Manual Leon Cupra 300, yes the leon is very boring to look at, but what a car it is to drive, could be worth a look. Yes the S3/R are fast, but the leon drives nothing like those especially for FWD
The Golf R is one of the most sought after hatchbacks in South Africa, and for that it is also on the list of the most hijacked cars in the country. It's a good car, but you buy it at your own risk.
funny enough I only live 10 minutes away from gravelwood and you and tony should go to the Porsche event at brands hatch as its down the road from gravelwood
Golf R with a DCT is very boring, and very understeering. The GTI is much more fun. I understand gave you it so you can't be honest but the R just isn't the fun one to drive
I love that little car. I didn't fall for the clickbait because i knew it was at Tony's, but when you name a video after it perhaps you should have spent a little time with it.
Most cars are fun to drive fast! My little 208 Gti is fun as hell just driving around town aswell. Thats the kind of cars i like, cars that are fun without the need to brake the speed limit two times over. But my Gti will happilly do that too.... :P
The Golf R sums up VW perfectly, very good, very competent, hugely overpriced and dull as fuck. Really don’t understand the enthusiast community around VW, just can’t see what there is to be enthusiastic about.
Sam, that yellow bananamobile was the best car you have had to date! I still love that thing! F*** the Ferrari, and the Porsche (as a major Porsche fan!) that little yellow fellow is a beast! :D Even if it is mad expensive! :P
Nice little car you can get better though. Maybe it's because i live in the states but tiny performance cars and even hot hatches don't do anything for me . We have wider roads and camaros and mustangs lots of variants of these. Those are our affordable performance cars
