I like to imagine multiple strangers on the internet desperately trying to find all of Harris's information and tracking him down.

This really saved me illy. Thank you. I was online and this guy messaged me, he said not to tell anyone. He wanted me to send him photos if myself. I was 13. It went on for a month before i came across this series from you. And i thought to myself "Wait..this is what Harris did to her. What if this happened to someone i knew. Wait..****** is doing this to me.." i then texted the guy "Please stop texting me. This isn't okay, if you contact me or my family I will report you to the police. Leave me alone and do not ever even try to get me into your life again". And i blocked him on everything and i was free. Thank you illy..thank you for saving me Please keep doing what you do❤❤❤

You know... My abuser showed me the first part of your story with your ex. He must have thought he was a "good guy" because he thought I wouldn't make the connection that my abuser and Haris were similar in demanding things with a victim complex. It took a few more years before I cut him out of my life completely after that. I didn't cut him out before because he'd always play the victim and claim that "I wanted him to do it" in our cuddles. Meanwhile I was just treating him like I would a lady friend because ladies are more affectionate in friendships than boys are. I had mental issues and PTSD that I was refusing to acknowledge. It took too long that what he was doing in our cuddles was wrong. Sometimes I wonder if I actually wanted to cuddle him. Due to my non-acknowledged mental issues and PTSD I let him go past my boundaries. I dissociated. I told him that what he's doing is wrong and how dare he crossed my boundaries. At the time I didn't know that I had mantal issues, so I didn't have an explanation of why he should back off. He demanded an explanation and even dropped hints that he could hurt himself by telling me that he knew where his dad's gun was. He'd purposely drive close to the seawall edge that was bordered by a flimsy cable line just to see my reaction. He knew I was afraid of water even if I didn't tell him. He knew. He knew he knew. He still doesn't know about my confirmed PTSD symptoms. But I had a feeling that he did even if he didn't know the proper term for it. He knew I couldn't trust men because of the evil men that were in my life in the past. He knew that I valued my family more than I valued him. He knew I could snap him like a twig if I so badly wanted to. So he played victim. Cue 7 years of wasted time. But what wasn't a waste for the last of those 3 years in the 7 years was when he mistakenly introduced me to my future wife. We cut him out completely and I'm still trying to accept that it happened. I want to forget my time with him, but it happened when I was trying to figure out my identity and what it was going to be for the rest of my life. He wasted my time, that's for sure. But he didn't waste that I had reasons to cut him out.

Victim blaming is probably the dumbest reaction you can have towards someone who is or has been in a situation like this

Here’s my story: When I was 6 or 7, I moved into an apartment complex. I met this girl who I ended up becoming SUPER close friends with. One day, we were walking over to do laundry and she pushed me into a bathroom. (Before I tell the rest I should mention she was only a year older than me) she told me she wanted to try something and told me to lay on the ground. I didn’t know what to do. She started talking telling me she wanted to “prepare” me for something. And then she told me to be quiet and you can imagine what happened. I told her to stop and I didn’t like what she was doing, but she told me she wouldn’t be my friend anymore and would punch me if I didn’t shut up. I can still vividly remember that day. It happened lots of other times. I can still hear the hum of the lights in the bathroom and I can still hear what her voice sounded like, and what she looked like. And I can remember when I woke up in her bedroom one morning and something didn’t feel right. I remember when she got dressed and made me watch. I remember how I thought it was normal. Please, please speak up.

I've gotten a little older since the last time I watched this series and wanted to say; Due to helping other friends through trauma and situations like this and helping them stop anything that starts, after seeing how many people are like this each time I hear one of the abusers say "if they don't keep talking I'll kill myself" "if they don't keep talking and answering I'm going to jump off a bridge" half of my brain is immediately sympathetic and supportive towards my friend, but the other half just has the immediate reaction of "do it then". I'd never say it of course, and I deeply apologize for saying I wish the death of another human but when it comes to people I care about and love like family having to deal with these awful creeps... I can't help but want them to rot in the most slow, painful way humanly imaginable. Edit: Spelling errors

I remember watching this series a few years ago and feeling really sympathetic. When you look at stories of abuse you never think that it could happen to you, but I didn't know I'd be stuck in a similar situation only a couple years after I saw these. Of course at the time I didn't think my issues were that big of a deal, and I didn't think my relationship was all that bad, but especially after breaking up and rewatching this series I realize how wrong my ex was. We've been broken up for about a year now and it's like a huge weight off my chest, but I also wish I could've seen what was happening sooner. It's reassuring to hear someone's story when it's so similar to your own

I'll say it every time I hear a story like this: dear underage girls, that 20-something boy does NOT care about you, he does not love you, he wants someone that's easy to control and too naive to know when their being abused. I know how alluring and interesting it seems to date an older guy when your that young, but it's not worth it.

illy, I’m so happy I found this series. I was in the 1st stage of this happening before I saw this video and went “this isn’t normal. This needs to end.” luckily I got a restraining order and later found out he is now getting therapy and is being kept in a facility. I really look up to you for posting this. I love that Harris was very poorly animated to show how much he was despised during the whole series.

My stalker story: So in my 1st year of college, this guy names James once interjected himself into a conversation about the controversy regarding the Starbucks holiday cups. It was friendly, no biggie, the more the merrier, it was normal. Then he would come find me and study with me in the library. We would talk every so often and then we went for a quick walk in between classes and I showed him my favorite spot. Well, he surprise kissed me and I was super uncomfortable. I told him I wasn't interested but at that point he had my Snapchat. He would follow me around campus and take photos of me around the campus and send them to me. After a month, I caught him doing it and I got in his face. He was basically a twig like Harris. I threatened to break his neck and smear his face on the pavement if he ever contacts me again. Aggressive, I know. But entirely necessary.

For anyone reading: If this video made you feel like you might be in an abusive relationship, but you're doubting it because "its not as bad as this," LISTEN to your gut. Abuse comes in many forms and severity. Take care of yourself before it gets worse. Don't put up with someone who isn't good to you. Stay strong.
