Thanks for sharing. The leader of my quilt group also has the electric model and she brings it to sew meetings to cut 5" squares for our charity quilts. I find accurate cutting difficult so maybe one of these might be in my future.

Thanks for showing your Go cutter and dies. I look at them periodically when they are on sale but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I started making the double pinwheels using the foundation paper from Creative Notions. It is so much fun. Told my daughter I feel like I'm back in school doing a craft project. With only three pieces it's' a good way to get started with FPP. Can't wait for your video.

Even though I have other dies, I use my 1 1/2", 2 1/2" and 4 1/2" the most. I have had mine for a number of years and I don't have the reference charts, etc that you have. They sound helpful.

Do you have some of the dies I have? You can get those reference on the AccuQuilt website for free. If you haven’t created an account, then do that and then download to you reading device or print them out. That’s what did. They have more than I printed out to show everyone.

So you have to have the plastic squares to make your sandwich, you have to have different ones for all of them? And you saying how to lay your fabrics, now I am afraid to use it. I bought the go me set with the little camper, I can't use all dies in it. I just ordered a few I wonder if they will work with mine? I would like to get the 8 cube and now wondering if it will work on my machine.

The plastic comes in different sizes based on the die you’re using. Each die has to have a plastic cutting mat because the blades are pushed up towards the die in order to cut the fabric as it swipes. If you don’t put a mat on top of your die then the fabric doesn’t cut, it just goes through the machine. Does that help you understand how it works a little better. If not I can demonstrate it on my next AccuQuilt demonstration. Let me know.

I know that you have to have them, I have the real long one I got for my set with the go me camper one, I have the 2 1/2 strip one, but I ordered the sam and sue die, so I need to have different plastic to put smaller dies through?

Yes, but since the dies are the same you only need one mat. I don’t own a mat for every die cause I use a mat for multiple dies.

Where do find a store of Accuquilt? On Google, I ask for Canadian Accuquilt and I finish in USA! I like the new colour. I have an old one and it’s white!
