Film stars are very rich. What they earn in one movie, most Indians dont earn in their lifetime. I remember reading what Gurudutt wrote in an old magazine, how he and hs wife vacationed in Rome, Paris, Iran etc in the late 50s, something that is unthinkable for an average middle class even today
