Y’all remember when jimmy was with a broken arm a sick 300z and a dream. Kid has come so far just so happy for Ol boy that just looks like he’s checking everything off his list. Proud of you bro!
You have to keep in mind, the dyno is simply a tool to tune your vehicle. Every dyno will read differently due to parameters in the software. The numbers don’t really matter, but it’s just a unit to measure.
This is correct, to a point, however if you have an engine that you know the limits of, its very important to know whether or not you're running it on the edge of failure
@@Shadow0fd3ath24 doesn't matter the only number that matters is at the track. Has nothing to do with calibration either. There are so many diffrent standards that you can make the number way higher than it really is.
A micrometer is just a tool for measuring as well and im sure you wouldnt want your engine builder using one that isnt well calibrated. The torque number definitely matters good thing its reading over and not under because reading the torque value lower than it actually is wouldnt end well for anyone.
@@duanebailey6253 Ive been on 6-7 dynos with my 740whp-ish car and its been within 8-10hp on ALL of them despite 10+ degreees of air temp variations, only one that wasnt within that range was a new dynojet that hadnt been calibrated fully yet. It only read 28-30hp higher. Also 2 identical cars with 1 having the wrong suspension could get smoked by a car with way less hp measured on the same dyno and all. So no the track isnt the only number that matters. 2 identical cars on a dyno with one reading 15% higher will ALWAYS win at the track. No ifs and or buts
Stevie mentioned freestyle music! Oh my god, the latino in you is bursting out! It's rare to meet someone under 40 years old who knows freestyle music. Shout out from Miami my guy!
That's what I thought... I was at Front Porch I think two weekends ago now. I was like I'm pretty sure this is Spoon's spot, and that's probably Jim's 86. Yup.
Deibert . Is such a cool dude. I don't know him my self but I miss seeing him on your vlog . His shop is looking good. Hope to see him more on the channel
Get those three-piece Toyota OEM wheels that guy is making. He takes plain-looking Camry rooms and cuts them up and makes badass three-piece polished jobs out of them
The 86 always looks best in some form of white and it would be cool to have it similar to the new one you picked up. With the engine it is receiving championship white (NH0) would appropriate.
Ssr Mesh, or Ssr Xr4 Longchamps for the Corolla, and can be backups for the Ae86! 👌🏽 hoard a bunch of dope small wheels to use between the two so they’re never caught lookin’ left out!
I don’t think k series are played out quite the opposite not enough detailed content on the Honda motors. Your the perfect person to do a build like this for Honda/ae86 boys
I love the fact that Jimmy and Aki all have that clean connection together with Spoon... Now Jimmy has to convince Aki and Trap to start drifting lol...
back in the day my dad had black headlights like that on his foxbody and he had his cousin put a line across it with the bump of a heartbeat. like those machines have when you’re hooked up. It looked killer. that’d be sweet on the combat eye
Hey Jimmy, no doubt you would've thought of it, but a big old 52" light bar instead of the grill and headlights looks pretty rad for drifting, they're durable and cheap as to replace as well be mint for track days
As long as you ain't drafting at night I would run two of those that's definitely a look a mean look that really no one has there's only a few tracks that let you drift at night I never thought a plastic cover could make the 240 look so unique
