I just bought a new Acer Predator top of the line laptop at the base store. I spent an extra $200. for the no questions asked 2 year extended warranty where they will just refund your full price of the laptop. It even covers accidental damage. :)
Welcome back! :) Here's what I think. It's a good service Dell provides, having a tech come to your place to replace a part - tell me how many others vendors will do that? The parts issue is not just a Dell problem. I'm in no way a Dell fanboy trust me - I rarely buy their devices but I did now. The heat is causing a lot of these failures unfortunately, I think frankly it's just too much power and not enough cooling capacity. I will consider liquid metal in the future for my device's longevity. And yes, upgrading that warranty - the devices are so expensive it's worth it.
But according to the IT guys my motherboard die because of element 31 leakage to the board so he told me u have to be very careful when u apply something like liquid metal

Ya maybe ? Unfortunately is tech a lot of things can happen my msi and Asus had tons of problem too maybe legion is the best at the market? I haven’t tested yet but it does look good
I can't agree with that I have an Alienware 👽 and it's awesome.gaming laptops all run very hot and because of this the hardware can fail eventually.keeping them cool as possible should extend the lifespan.also keeping the fans and cooling vents clean.
unfortunately legion does not have such a good 4k screen with such a broad color gamut.. otherwise, I'd take it over the alienware... also lenovo has the on site service like Dell, but not in all parts of the world.. what do you think of asus strix scar 17 SE?
