A GREAT inspirational movie. What I liked the most about this film was the love that was poured into it. It showed in the EXTREME attention to detail. They recreated the 1969 Texas-OU game and Texas-Arkansas game very well. Jordan Shipley playing Cotton Speyrer! Case McCoy as the Arkansas quarterback! Juston Street playing his own father, James Street! Aaron Eckhart was PERFECT as Darrell Royal! Finn Wittrock as Freddie Steinmark! Excellent!

@@GregOrCreg Inspirational to anyone. This movie was an EXTREMELY accurate portrayal of the life of Freddie Steinmark, done by those who knew him best. How dare you bring fascism into this. This was about a young man who took on long odds and overcame them, succumbing only to cancer. This story ought to be inspiring to anyone, no matter their race or gender.

The movie was alright, the message it has is good but it doesn't seem to match up to inspirational powerhouses like "remember the titans" but it is still an alright movie. Freddie would have been a legend as a pro if he didn't have cancer, pity that the greats are always affected by unseen circumstances.
