Lemur mentioned the story about her mom complaining about Lemur being a shut-in and that reminded me of how much my best friend and I used to joke about how much my mother hated that I played video games so much. For context, I am very much a homebody and only like to be at home playing video games. The only time I go out is with my best friend when he's doing shows or when there's a party. My mother always assumed he was a bad influence, but we used to always laugh and be like, "She should be happy that you're not out getting drunk and doing drugs!" She's been a bit more lenient with it now, but I think that's only because me playing video games hasn't hindered my career and she sees how successful I've been working in my field. Good times.

Hey so I noticed watching while watching the Nier: Tower at Paradigms Breach video, at one point Lemur says "This is Pandeamonium", to which Choco replies "No, that's next raid tier". That video came out in April 2021. Pandaemonium wasn't announced until LL 67 on November 6 later that year. Choco is psychic (or I'm super wrong and failed to find any earlier announcements)

20:25, that is literally what i told my parents, except the pregnant part since im a guy, but telling parents, grandparents, any relative really who were constantly telling me to go out more and play games less, i told them basically: "so instead of me, making friends, having fun, and learning a lot from internet, you want me to go out, party, drink while underage, smoke, use drugs and get girls pregnant? Which one do you prefer?" I can totally understand the desire not to go hard on mount farming next expansion. I went hard on it last expansion. Got the 100 totems I needed from diamond weapon in 2 days when it came out. I have completely ignored mount farming for the entirety of EW. Dawntrail, I might get back into it, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it this expansion.

As someone with no group to mount farm, I fully understand Drak's pain :') Still missing 90% of ShB ones and all of EW, including even the clears, which makes it even harder to find a group despite knowing the fights through guides and stuff. The weapons, accs and mounts are cool, but even if a fight is fun, continously farming it can actually get super exhausting and it'd be very understandable if Drak decided to take a break from that for a while, imo Thank you for the video though, you guys are always a delight and put a smile on my face 💙

I've also been doing these fights the last month with someone who I started playing with-me getting all the gwibbers and she getting the cats. The biggest highlight for me, for sure, was in Emerald Weapon when I didn't understand where exactly people stood for the arrow thing, I was towards the middle and sniped her with it. She got so freaking mad at me, it was the most I probably have laughed in my life. If I could have recorded that, I would have that just ready to play at any time.

Seeing Drak not trust that 98 reminds me of when I farmed diamond weapon. First run I ever did, mount dropped and I rolled a 98...someone else got a 99. I ended up with 88 totems (44 runs) before i got the mount

Beginners/Returners luck exists. My first EX run of after being unsubbed for a year the mount dropped, I rolled a 96 and got it. Also of note: - I still had 588 gear, 20k hp less than my co-tank - throughout the evening I murdered a dd at least 3 times by virtue of being dead/not provoking after being dead and a tankbuster - the fc had 2 groups at it for 2 hours and my mount was the only one that dropped - it is a perfect sequel to my first ever EX run back in ShB cuz I also just joined the fc, floortanked the fight and got the mount while having no endgame gear😂

This video reminds me of when I was trying for Thordan EX's mount. Almost lost my sanity trying that fight over and over again. The constant wipes to the eye did not help either. (This was back when max was 70)

So this is what it looks like to slowly lose whatever is left of your sanity... Then again, I sort of quit mount farming (stopped after the 2nd Gweiber) because I was tired of it...and because there haven't been any farming parties up lately for it. PF is rough because people will constantly be coming and going, so you THINK that only two more people need the mount, and then the next thing you know a couple folks dip out and another two people come in who need the mount and it's a neverending cycle. Though honestly, Suzaku nearly broke me (I had 70 totems by the time I got the mount. I remember being in one group where it was one of the best groups I'd been in with how consistently we ran it...but the mount didn't drop once in ten runs and all of us just completely lost morale).
