There is something so nostalgic, sweet, and aesthetically-pleasing about bound, hardcover Journals from the 90s. I actually peruse second hand blank Journals online and in thrift stores. They are some of my favorite purchases. 1980s and 1990s Journals that no one ever wrote in possess a particularly endearing power and charm. They are as though they were waiting thirty or so years to be written in, cherished, held dear, and Loved as companions and keepers of all of one's feelings, ruminations, and curiosities. Thank you for sharing your Journal collection with us. ✒
😍I'd love to have soo many journals! One day, i'll also have my own library for my diaries! I really really love journals/diaries that are chunky and are about to explode! Watching your video makes me want to continue journaling! Lots of hearts❤❤❤❤
Celia, I had fun watching that video! Loved having a peek at your collection. I keep my journals organized in order as well. You are really productive, I am impressed. Your compoween composition notebooks are truly sick!!! Take care 🧡
I loved seeing all of your journals! It’s so inspiring to see how many you’ve kept over the years! I’m sorry that someone read some of your journals- that was one of my biggest concerns when I first started journaling, but thankfully my family and my partner have been respectful and kind when I’ve asked them kindly not to read my journals. It’s neat to see how your styles has both changed and stayed similar over the years!
I’m amazed at how many years you have kept your journals. I love how your style through the different types of books remained unchanged. I was trying to keep up with all of the names of the journals and I have 1 tab open for each one you were naming. The artist loft journals are only $5.50 30% off. I normally buy leuchtterm, moleskine, and exceed, but I’ll have to check out Michael’s. My journals are in my bedside cabinet. I stayed until the end.
Thanks for watching!💜 Yes, I primarily stick with the same brands and just switch around between them according to what I am in the mood for. I prefer Artist Loft to Exceed. They lie flat easier. Also Michael’s has sales often.
I loved seeing your collection! Could you do a video explaining how your numbering system works? I'm interested to see how you started from 1 later on I'm your journaling yet still numbered earlier ones. I'm also interested in what the re-numbering process was like. Anyway, I love your channel!
Thank you so much!💜 I know, it’s confusing. I only started numbering my journals in 2020, I believe. But then I wanted to include my older journals in my tally so instead of renumbering almost 100 journals, I just went back and started at whatever the next number was. I don’t know if it makes sense but it works for me.🤣
there's just something about this collection that I absolutely adore. I'm 20 years old now and have been daily journaling for about two years. Seeing how your archived journals have come to be over the many years is incredible, and I look forward to one day having my own little library of my documented life in this format. Thank you for sharing, Celia!
SO PRETTY! I am amazed at how many journals you have, I have been journaling forever and I can only find 3 of mine! Also, I admire you for putting them all away neatly. If I were making this video I would have journals all over the place...lol!
It seems you've been writing more in 2022. I wonder, do you find writing more helpful? I've found, that concerning writing more is better for me, but I'm not sure, if that's because I write more at times I need it more, or if it'd always help, but I don't usually do it. Just curious, if you've felt a difference. I love your collection btw. so colourful, so many years of writing. ❤
Very good observations. It was definitely a rough year for me as far as my mental health. I write more when I am struggling. But writing in general has always been my niche. Thank you for watching💜
