Hello Debina, it’s totally normal for the babies to suffer with mild jaundice. One tip for you to follow… sit with your baby in sunlight for atleast half n hour and remember sunlight should not fall ur baby’s face, just middle body and legs. It will help a lot for sure.

Debina..jaundice occurs when the bile juice doesn't break down in babies and do not get released in the form of stool....breastfeed frequently...the more u feed...the less chance of kids to get infantile jaundice...

Sunlight, frequent breastfeeding are 2 best home remedies, Also new born babies usually sleeps around 16-18 hours a day, I used to feed my son every 2-3 hours during his 1st month, Trust me,(as a mother of 3) Lianna’s sleeping pattern will change every month…

I can remember the time when my baby suffered from jaudice..I was crying like hell when I heard my baby crying due to blood test..we had to take her to the morning sunlight for 1month and by god grace she healed within this period.

The same incident happened with my daughter but as she was born back then in 2020 when the pandemic was in its peak ; the worst part for me was I was not allowed to get admitted in the hospital and only she was there for 24 hrs . The most scary incident of my life ! And your story is exactly same as mine . The same thing happened with us. We came back home and then my lil one was detected with jaundice . And fortunately, my baby was exactly like yours, too calm during the treatment

Yes Ma'am this is common and normal.My daughter also had jaundice after 3 days she was born and was under this blue light.She used to cry a lot under that light as winter mei without clothes.Within 7 days she was fine.Lot of blessings and love to your princess 😘😘Keep her in sunlight for few min at a time.

Hello beautiful I can completely understand this , I have a 6 month old she went thru the same , I live in Europe but it was like before discharge they do a blood test and check the jaundice and we found out on the 2nd day itself so it wasn't much stress for me , I was with baby in the hospital , make sure you show her morning sun and give vitamin d drop daily and breastfeed every 2 hours , more feeding more pee and poop and judice will come out , the more poop she will do it will be fast recovery , change her diaper every hour and use diaper cream . It's common in newborn so don't worry , it will be okay in a month, good now summer in India , my daughter was born in October in snowfall and we had no sun for 3 months Good luck 🍀

After sharing your experience when your baby got jaundice.... I thought you are narrating my story.... Exactly same situation same feeling everything is same... My baby was born on 5th August, 2021. I got discharged on 7th August late evening and again I got admitted with my baby on 12th August. As his jaundice level was 18.5. After 24 hrs of phototherapy his level reduced to 9.5. Seriously I literally cried in hospital itself when Dr said that we have to admit it... That phase...... N now my baby boy is of 9 months old.... My heartthrob ♥️♥️

My baby was born on December last year, she had jaundice too.After this light treatment,still jaundice will be there. But keep her in morning sunlight for half an hour (now it'll be easy as it is summer season), it will be gone within 1 month, nothing to be afraid of

Don't worry my child also had jaundice, after 3 days of delivery it was also admitted and for two days photo therapy or you also tell him blue light was kept on it and yes there are no clothes on the body.

My son had jaundice of 23. Doctor told us if his wt was less like 2.5kg then he would have need blood transfusion. He was in hospital for 72hrs . Yes we were emotional that time but with doctors treatment all went well.

With C Sections I guess every babies have this jaundice my baby immediately contact jaundice and admitted her again I was so worried once again every thing came in front of eyes so don't worry she will be fine keep her on light sun

Newborn jaundice is totally different from adult jaundice where direct bilirubin is more than normal range and affects liver. But for newborn indirect bilirubin is more than normal range,and it is happened to most of the children,so don't worry about it! That's why in older days our grandparents always instructed to keep newborn on morning sunlight though they don't know the reason 😃wish best wishes for ur baby 😘
