Haha! I think also people have more time on their hands and are spending a big chunk at home. Also it's a simple and direct recipe with heart-warming vibes!
I didn’t want to have to go to the grocery store, so I used what I had & it still turned out delicious! Some of the subs I made are coconut flour instead of almond, dried figs with a tad bit of maple syrup instead of dates, instant oatmeal instead of regular, more baking powder in place of the baking soda (didn’t have any), added some flax meal and chia seed, and used pumpkin seeds instead of walnuts! Topped with organic plant butter & a drizzle of honey- turned out absolutely perfect. Thanks for the recipe Annie, you posted it right when my bananas turned brown 😁 Appreciate you!
Made this for the second time yesterday and it never fails to impress me. Let me tell you this is the best banana bread I’ve ever had and I won’t let anyone tell me otherwise.
This recipe is truly incredible. I'm 14 years old and I'm trying to fill my lifestyle with healthy recipes. And I discovered you about a year ago and you are truly my idol. You motivate me incredibly. Since dates are scarce at home, I used 3 dried apricots mixed with dates and it was really great. And I also grated the orange zest in it and it's no different than regular cakes. it is AMAZING, especially when one day, definitely try it. Love you Annie 💜💜💜💜💐
This is not a sugar free & no need of insuline dessert for diabetics. chocolate chips, dates and bananas are full of fast sugars..al though it are all healthy sugars, it does not mean it’s sugar free😉 I’m a diabetic myself 💕 I would make this because it’s healthy and delicious but would need a very large dose of insuline to digest this😁✌️
@@faye7199 Yes, Dates are low GI and bananas are technically aswell, however that is not the only thing someone has to look at when thinking about insulin. What Danielle mentioned is fast acting sugars, which is not the same as GI, but means that the sugars will raise your glucose lvls very fast. If they are low GI it might not be as huge of a boost but it still raises it quickly which many people try to avoid. The recipe is healthy and would maybe be fine for someone who only has insulin resistance and not diabetes, but for people with diabetes there's more then just GI so it's an option that they have to think about and make sure they can handle :)
This looks so yummy! Just a tip for everyone, if you want to use coconut flour instead PLEASE don’t use the same amount as shown in this video! Coconut flour is so so much more absorbent and you need around a third of the quantity here, otherwise it will be extremely dry.
Ok I must admit I changed the recepie a little but. The taste and smell was great but ut didn't raise as much as I liked ! I also ommited the baking soda as well😏 Next time I replace it with almond flour 🤓
I don't like bananas in general but this looked so tempting so I tried it with 1/3 cup coconut flour (as someone mentioned in the comments below) and it's DELICIOUS! I can't believe how good it is! Thank you Annie! ❤️ And yes! More recipes please! 🙏❤️
This is the best banana bread recipe I've seen. Every single time the bread comes out perfect. Thank you for sharing this recipe. Would love to see some more of your healthy recipes.
We made your banana bread yesterday and it's sooo good. Like a desert, I put it in a bowl and topped it with coconut yogurt and blueberries. Thank you! and stay safe
I made this exactly as the recipe asked except I did not have a pan loaf - I made it in a sheet pan and it was absolutely delicious! She was not kidding about your house smelling amazing!
Hello. I've been enjoying watching your videos. Thanks for staying positive. It's uplifting. I just wanted to say that your recipes are so good. Why don't you write a RECIPE BOOK? You are so down to earth and real. You're cooking looks so delicious that it has encouraged me to start cooking and eating healthily. Thanks Annie.
Hi Annie, I made it last night; and just like you said it is moist & delicious and not too sweet. I did tweek it by adding 3 T. flaxseeds. I'd love to see more recipes. Thank you.
I made this with a few substitution - honey instead of date, mix of coconut and almond flour 50/50, no choc chips. Amazing!!! This is my first ever banana nut bread. Just wondering what settings I would use in an air fryer?
This turned out so good! I used a chia seed egg I didn’t have dates so I used 1/2 cup of honey. I bought dates today and will make the exact recipe next week!
THANKS FOR SHARING, NICE RECIPE IF YOU DONT CARE ABOUT SUGAR. KEEP ON MIND 1 CUP OF DATES HAVE 93Gr OF SUGAR AND 3 BANANAS HAVE 42Gr A GOOD REPLACEMENT TO AVOID SUGAR IF YOU ARE DIABETIC COULD BE MONK FRUIT. BUT I DEFINITELY WILL TRY IT. THANK YOU.
Oooow Annie, this is so up my street, I think it looked like the date paste has made this really moist. Omg definitely going to try it! 😋 Thank you, everything in it I love! x 😊
I made this exact recipe. Instead of using whole oats I pulsed them a little so it still has a bite. And I baked in brownie pan instead of bread loaf pan. So good.
We baked it today with my daughter, I tagged you on IG. My husband ate half a cake at once though he's quite picky about desserts I make :) thanx a lot for inspo, looks like we'll need another dessert tomorrow :)
Thank you Annie I’ve made this about 5 times now! Only thing - I follow the recipe but I’m not sure why the consistency of the batter never looks like yours, it’s quite runny. I live in Australia so I’m not sure if the measurements/ingredients differ here but if anyone is running into the same problem I ended up reducing the coconut oil used to 1/4 of a cup and kept adding almond flour (and some coconut flour) until the consistency was the same as Annie’s.
Just made your banana bread and it was absolutely delicious, and it really felt good eating it since it's so healthy. Had to stop myself from eating a forth piece in a row 😅. Thank you for the recipe Annie!
Tried this recipe and it was SO delicious I decided to share some with my family and we decided it’s going to be the new go-to family banana bread recipe!! Seriously. It’s that good🤤
So happy to find your channel Annie!!! I’ve made your banana bread recipe five times...... it’s soooo delish...my family loves it! Great texture with nuts and coconut flakes toasted on top then the inside is very moist and chocolaty.... thank you!!!🥰👍🏼🍌🥘💖💖💖
I made the banana bread and ate it as breakfast with some yoghurt and fruit on the side. It was sooo delicious! Thank you! I didn't have dates so I blended raisins and used pieces of my dark chocolate bar as the chocolate dips. It turned out to be the exact sweetness I wanted!
That's not true at all. I have worked with almond flour countless of times and I've never had a problem with it. And since this recipe has lots of moisture from the bananas, that will also prevent from crumbling
I made this yesterday, it turned out to be delicious! Perfect sweetness and slight bitterness from 70% chocolate. I halved the recipe and used a 6 inch tin x
Hi Annie! I have been watching you for years and you recently inspired me to start living a healthy lifestyle. I grew up eating poorly and it definitely shows physically and emotionally. Thank you so much for your content and I appreciate you! Hope you’re staying safe during this time! 😊
Chris Scotland. Hi This recipe sounds great. Can you use Organic brown rice flour? I have so many bags I bought in bulk. I'm trying to use it up. Also, can I replace Almond milk? Will make As so as received reply, thanks.
usually a very silent subscriber but I really wanted to let you all know that I've done this recipe three times at this point (yes, every week since it came out!) and it tastes sooooooo good! thank you Annie for this vital recipe❤️
