MY BASE FALLS APART! SKELETON AMBUSH! HUNTING! Solo Valheim [E2] 

Oh Iggy!! Bummer, hate to see that happen to you. You definitely have to be careful when you level the ground out. I’m absolutely loving Valheim though. It’s so much fun with enough similarities to Ark and other survival/ building games I like and enough that is different and original to be it’s own thing. No different than any other game like this one of the keys is adapting to how the mechanics work. Structural integrity can get tricky, but is actually pretty realistic as is the problem with ventilation for fireplaces. I have no doubt that you will get the hang of it shortly and really get rolling with the game. There is so much to do and see. I really like the looks of the game a lot. You can actually put 2 cooking racks over a fire so you can cook 4 pieces of meat at a time. Once you start getting into metal use the game really opens up in big ways. The cooking pot and fermenter opens up lots of stuff in terms of food recipes and health and protection brews. It has an almost old school D&D approach to weapons usage against different types of enemies. Blunt bashing weapons for skeletons, fire against trolls and the use of silver weapons versus undead creatures. It’s really cool though. You will find that some of the rock formations hide little secrets for you. Sometimes you will find them roughly shaped like a boat and you can dig them up for treasures from the ships buried there. It takes experimentation to get a solid understanding, but it feels very rewarding when you start unlocking and figuring out stuff that opens your possibilities up so much. Also different types of creatures come out in the different biomes at night than do during the day. Really enjoyed the video Iguana and look forward to the next one! Hope you and the pups are doing well!
