I LOVE commenting on 5 yr old videos. I'm betting veggie cakes work on these things. I know they are insanely heavy (the things are heavier than grandma's biscuits) but should take care of the health problem. Some say that making them sit has changed as far as health regeneration, so there is that. Anyways, imma toss a few veggie cakes in the inventory and lay waste to a continent. P. S. i'm drinking beer while watching these videos. It doesn't appear to affect my taming abilities. Anybody know how many rocks it takes to knock out a giga with a slingshot?
Its worth mentioning that if you only need a fabricator, it uses maybe a few gas. You may be able to combine the resources you find from nodes with loot from trilobites. If you are online players or their bases sometimes have either oil or gas so theres that. Edit Wow i did all my farming to make fria curry just to learn i can use the amber i got for a DAY of cold time reduction. That's crazy. My single player map is gona go crazy. I need to get a mammoth there too as well as a Rex so thats the play for me. I need to go for more caves. I need exceptional loot and blueprints to take on the creatures. The difference between a primitive assault rifle and ascendent is insane. It also shows that in its cost. But im on my way. Getting a frog taming so i can stop bothering beaver's for cementing paste and just need to get some more. i have good obsidian coming in for polymer but organic polymer is an interest for me for obvious reasons. Its not a bug/glitch, it is a sort of feature for certain dinos and tames, some seem useless but they generally all have a purpose. This makes caving way simpler and if you do it on singleplayer you can build a few protected areas to stop at, not needing to dismount. Nice how it doesn't even matter the level of the spider your using as well. Your right on why people never knew why, most people forget that almost every dino or creature is useful for something.

You can throw anything into the first trap like for example throw one stimberry into it to trigger the trap, so whether it gets triggered out or not just walk past through it
