Yarn: Red Heart Yarn. Super Saver Stripes. 5 oz (141 g) and 236 yds (215 m). 100% Acrylic. Medium Weight Yarn [4]. Machine Wash and Dry.
Colors: 1 skein in Calm Stripe, E300
Hook: 5.5 mm (I). I used this hook.
Finished Project Yardage: One Size Fits Most: 141 g / 236 yds.
Scissors, Yarn Needle, Stitch Marker
Finished Size
Scarf width approximately 6 inches X 70 inches length.
Gauge
Approximately 6 rows per 4 inches and 6 v-sts per 4 inches.
You can substitute any yarn and hook for this stitch pattern - just remember when you substitute if your gauge is different, the finished size, and amount of yarn used for your project will also be different.
Special Stitches
V-stitch (v-st): (dc, ch 1, dc) in indicated st or sp
Notes:
The initial “sk the first 5 chs” counts as 1 dc and 1 sk ch.
Ch 3 at the beginning of a row counts as 1 dc.
Stitch multiple is a multiple of 3 plus 2, plus 3 for the initial foundation chain
