Okay- I had a request to share my BB/CC/TINTED MOISTURIZERS/SKIN TINTS collection and share information about WHY I love them and why I reach for certain ones over others. For example, when I am having a bad skincare day- I am going to reach for a fuller coverage tinted moisturizer versus a sheer glowy one. Your arm swatch is so helpful, and highlights why I stopped using IT CC, which had been my go-to for years. It oxidizes so much and winds up with a dark orange overtone, no matter how light the formula. I now gravitate toward sheer tints and BB creams that disappear into my skin and focus more on balancing out redness than adding their own color. Very nice overview, thank you!

Love this video!! You really brought out quite a few and answered some questions I had. I have the LaMer Skin Tint and I love it too! I always grab my IT CC cream when I travel anywhere!!! I'm excited for the biologique recherche serum teint video. I have the serum, but didn't know to apply it under my sunscreen I guess I skipped over that instruction! I really like the BC dew skin mixed with the Jane Iredale glow time. The chantecaille future skin is one of my favorites,too.

Great overview Abby. I must admit I have tried nearly all of those🤣As I get older (58 now) my skin changes and those I used to love do not work now. The It Cosmetics is one that is in that category. At the moment I am wearing a lot of Bare Minerals complexion rescue gel cream with the new Dior concealer. Love the Chanel water tint and v interested in the Tom Ford skin tint😀 Also the BR skin tint looks right up my street due to the skin care aspect.

Perfect timing as always Abby! Thanks for your thorough overview. I was just shopping the Tom Ford Glow tinted moisturizer when your video appeared😘. I only saw one review and the comment that concerned me is that it’s highly fragranced! It’s in my cart but I might wait so I’m anxious to know what you think. I either own or previously owned most on your list. I bought the Revision Intellishade for an everyday gym base but I’ve been eyeing the Alastin as well. I’ve got so much that will expire that I decided to buy one at a time. I’m happy with the Revision but will probably try the Alastin next. ❤️

Hi Abby! I am so glad you made this video! I’m looking for a very sheer skin tint product because I don’t wear a lot of makeup like I used to. I’m 66 and have dry skin. I have wrinkles and lines and those icky nasal labial folds. I don’t really want to try to conceal them, but I am hoping to find an affordable skin tint that’s not invisible on my skin, but makes a subtle improvement with a radiant or semi dewy finish. My favorites are: Chantecaille Just Skin in Bliss, Chanel Tinted moisturizer in light medium, and the Chanel CC Cream in 20 Beige. Since my skin is so dry it loves the CC Cream. I am also really happily surprise by the Chantecaille! I have the Water Fresh Tint from Chanel but I think the fact that it is too light contributes to me not liking it. Maybe I would like it more if I got a darker shade. But I don't like that it doesn't have additional spf. But since I have three others that are working for me I will just go with those. I guess I am developing my own style with skincare and makeup. I think for everyday I want to go with a more easy / basic make up look. During this stressful time I am really enjoying my relaxing evening skin care ritual. I really look forward to that.

Great video! I have the BR serum and looking forward to how you are applying. Lately I’m just using it as a light foundation if I run to the store. Since I’m working from home and not going out much I really haven’t been wearing foundation, but this just gives a little something. At the price I don’t want to waste it if no one sees me anyway!! 😂 I have both the Chantecaille foundations mentioned and love them. Very interested in the hourglass you mentioned.

@@AbbyBlissWhite I also think it has a firming effect! I didn't understand what people meant when they said they could feel it firming the skin until I tried it. I was afraid it would be drying, but it's not at all. It's almost like a film forming protective layer. I have used it both under and over sunscreen. I've also sandwiched my sunscreen between it haha. That's usually what I do because I want to get the benefits of the tint, but I also want to use it more as makeup some days.

Hi Abby. Looking forward to the BR update! Have you tried the le metier de beaute peau visage. It’s my favourite - I would say it’s a combo of the By Terry cc serum mixed with the Chanel water fresh tint but has spf too. Great glow, just enough oomph and skincare to boot. Unfortunately not available in the UK, only US. It comes in a few shades. Well worth getting if you can lay your hands on it. Stay safe. Stella x

Oooooohh!! I ended up not picking up the Biologique Recherche serum tint because of how it was suggested to use UNDER your SPF. I have many many Korean and Japanese SPFs that are "tone up" creams, meaning they have a pink color to even out skin tone. Perfect timing! I was looking for a new tinted moisturizer. I've used Laura Mercier for years. I've been wearing it daily during the quarantine and am noticing that it's oxidizing on me. I've been looking at Chantecaille because I love Future Skin. Thanks for the swatch because I know Vanilla would be way too warm for me. I'm matched in Alabaster in Future Skin.

I'm worried about finding a shade in Chantecaille, especially now that I would need to buy online. I've been looking at the Ilia serum but and the Chanel Water Les Beiges. I worry about having to buff in the Chanel one because I don't want anything to disturb my sunscreen.

@@jenniferwilson8131 I have been matched in Vanilla several times and it does not appear to look that WARM on my actual skin. I might try Alabaster or BLISS. AND I always put on my SPF 50 as my last step in my skincare and have never had troubles with the Chanel one. I let it sink in for about 15 minutes before putting any other makeup on top. I hope this helps! AND I would try to purchase at someplace where you can return if the color is off. IT is hard to shop online but we are all sort of forced to do it at the moment. Stay safe. xoxo

Jennifer Wilson I wear Alabaster in Future Skin but Vanilla in the Just Skin. I was told by the Chantecaille rep that the Future Skin runs darker and the shades don’t equate. I was shocked by Abby’s swatch as well. I prefer the Future Skin and now I’m wondering if it’s the color that I don’t love with Just Skin.

I LOVE It cosmetics cc cream! It's high coverage and creamy and glowy at the same time and that's very unique. I also like the SPF 50. It's an all in one product. I'm afraid I don't want anything else anymore. 😅

I have quite oily skin and I still like the Nars one. Surprisingly, it gives a glow but it does not make me too oily throughout the day. With many matte foundations, they look nice and matte at first but I tend to be super oily at the end of the day.

Great review Abby! Just what I was looking for! I’m going to try the LM tinted moisturizer in a mini size. I see they have those at Sephora. I would love to try the Chanel water tint, but I don’t know if I would be deep/light or medium plus, lol. And, also there were quite a few on your list I would like to try. But, living in South Florida, I need the spf You’re funny, when you kinda smiled when saying this is good for travel, (the Sisley tint, that one looks lovely too, but I need to try in person) like if we ever can travel again soon.

Janice-- exactly! I am laughing because we had to cancel a trip to New Orleans and then a trip to Savannah/Charleston- and bought a ticket for my daughter for her summer program that I think will be canceled -- so we have all these lost tickets and not sure if we will be able to use the credits anytime soon. BUT the good news is that I bet flights will be cheap for while. I truly am NOT complaining - but just think it will be quite some time until I even WANT to get on an airplane. STAYING inside is essential and appears to be working so that makes me happy! I think going with the mini size is a great option! AND the good news about the Chanel is that it is pretty darn sheer that you don't need to be totally spot on! I would say - I bought MEDIUM first and that was too dark- and that Medium Light worked great! So would opt one shade lighter. I hope this helps. xoxo

Abby Bliss White wow! We sent our son to New Orleans for his 24th birthday in March during the Marci Gras! And, my husband and I went to our timeshare in Aruba right before everything happened. When we came home, we were wondering why so many people were wearing masks in Ft. Lauderdale airport. Then, everything happened. My son said he was so grateful for that trip to New Orleans. We also have a timeshare in Savanna and Charleston, & was planning to go this summer. But, of course, probably won’t happen. I’ll say this, it will be quite sometime before we ever go on a cruise, & we live in the Miami/Ft Lauderdale area. Yes, we are all isolated in our homes. We have very many cases of COVID19 here. But, can you imagine when we all can meet again. The tears will flow. So, on a brighter note, your videos uplift me. I’m going to go for the mini LM for now during the 20% sale. But, if I do order the Chanel, I’ll do it from Nordstrom, as they carry it there, & good return policy if the shade doesn’t work. Will try the medium plus. Stay safe and sane.

Oh Michelle, you poor thing! I sympathize with you since I experienced the same thing after being a passenger in an auto accident. Bc of my injuries, a plastic surgeon put together the outside of my nose but the inside was neglected and then I had to go to a diff doc and have surgical repair, and it was such a blessing when I could finally breathe again! I left out a lot but I know you understand-- -so complicated..Hope you are getting better and better🌷

I strongly suggest you try the lightest shade of Byterry cc cream. It isn’t in cream formulation, more of a serum. I’ve been leaning away from foundations but I must try Chanel water one.

I am intrigued by BLISS shade but they always seem to put me in Vanilla which pulls a bit warm and peachy on my skin. @@AbbyBlissWhite The new La Mer bronzing powder that Nordstrom had on discount is sold out. I did get one plus another shade of the Armani Luminous Silk concealer. I like the concealer very much...got the Angela Van Rose shade #3. It is light but do-able....maybe even as a hair highlighter until we can get back to the salon! :) Got the #4.5 that Michele has and also Mel. There are two shades that the Armani site quotes as light/neutral...4.5 and 5. Mel's pic looks a touch yellow as she said on the 4.5 and her 5 looks a touch pink. She could not figure it out either. Michele thought the 4.5 was pretty much right on for a neutral. Will see for myself soon enough. Chat soon! :)

Hello Janni!!! So I am doing a bit of a combo! I spoke to the Rescue Spa rep and she told me to use it as my finishing serum and then top with my SPF so I get all the good skincare benefits. BUT I have been doing one pump under and then mixing one pump with my SPF and it turns our pretty good!! Let me know what you think?? xoxo

Diane- that is a great question and I don't typically wear primer - and do not wear primer with these sheerer formulas. SO with all of these I will have just put on my regular skincare and the SPF before applying. I hope that helps. xoxo
