@@Beardbrand I don't see a point of comparing your beard with someone's else anymore. Review or analyze - maybe, but not comparison. We already know yours, and, as you say, it's not a good habit to compare yourself with someone else.

I think it looks fine on him...however I did see a really scrawny older white dude with a bald head and huge beard and it just looked strange on him whereas it probably would've looked good if he bulked up, so you are onto something.

Eric has the same problem, but he's also very tall so his muscle is more "spread out" for lack of a better term.

Yeah I feel Eric is excused by having such a huge frame. Can’t be easy to fill that out. But Jack is in his prime age and should be able to easy put on 20lb by just hitting the gym 3 times a week.

I have a circle patch in my beard from a cyst pimple a couple weeks ago got pretty inflamed. Do you think there are chances of hair growing back? I think it damaged the hair follicles. :/

1st off How do you shape the little hairless spots on the sides of the "soul patch" area like the little spots under the lips? because I mean I naturally cant grow hair there and I have a strong soul patch area similar to Jack.. I just cant shape the beard and make it look all...symmetrical. I always shave it off. because I always feel like when I let it grow for 3-4 weeks the beard makes my face look rounder. idk if I need to keep the cheek higher or lower.

Jack Sir, please don't take this as negative criticism, but you're so much younger than both Greg and Carlos. Beards grow full, and better with age. Same with your moustache. You have a great beard. There's no need to compare yourself with others. You just need to work on yourself, and try to make your beard better! :) Huge fan here.

That was one of the first things he pointed out. He stated straight out that both Greg and Carlos have had a lot more years for their beards to grow and mature.

Keep doing this mini series Jack. Your beard is actually near perfect, thanks to your cheeks and your chin and neck. Carlos just make the difference under his underlip, the moustache and the connections. That's what differentiates 'great' from 'perfect'.

I'm not sure I understand the point of this series. This channel's message has always been to rock what you got, to take pride in your own unique facial hair growth, and not compare your beard to others, but these videos are all about Jack directly comparing his beard to the other guys', picking it apart section by section, and determining whose is "better"? Like, I get that it's done in what appears to be mostly good fun, but it still seems weird to me.

megagene maybe he’s just doing this sort of series to show the different strengths and problems, for a lack of a better term, that different guys face with different beard growth patterns. He has compared his beard with some of the older gents on this channel so maybe he’s just promoting the idea of beards get fuller and thicker with age? But that’s just my 10p on the videos.

Jack your beard grows similar to mine since we both have a gap between the sides of our mustaches and tops of our beards. I don't like the gap so I trim mine where the side mustache and beard fully connect. I suggest you try the same I feel it will look good on you.

Dude you're not gonna get more surface area on your top lip, your face is the way it is. You just don't have big lips, that isn't a bad thing just don't expect it to happen later in life, it won't.

I was wondering about that. Guys like Tom Selleck had huge mustache surface area even when younger. I didn't know if he was trying to say your mustache skin will sag when you get older and new follicles will magically appear in the sagged skin?

John Sampson Exactly foliccles are there since fetus stage. So even if the upper lip stretches it won’t be as thick. Unless you have very curly hair so the hairs will blend. And Jack has very curly hair. But hey as Jack always says these things don’t change when you worry about it. Just be the best you. Good video Jack!
