Those Class 5 Boatworks boats are serious business, Tufferware they call it, it's some sort of magic plastic that can take a real beating and not get beat up like that aluminum boat. I had the chance to run one of those things and jumped some stuff, it's impressive!!

Why have a boat with just a bit of plastic on bottom when you can have the whole thing made out of it and a bigger jet pump. Come up to Alaska we will show you!!!!

That makes a HUGE difference when calculating their net worth, particularly when you are trying to value their ability to sell their brand off to cash in on the business they have spent their time building. Other than Garrett (with Motion Raceworks) and Kevin (With KSR), I don't think that I have seen any of the guys from the channel using the channel to promote traditional businesses that could be sold off and still remain successful without it.

A happy fabricator with everything they dream of is a happy, and this is the most important part, an efficient one! With as much welding and fabricating he does...it eases Cleet's wallet/time to give everything he wants in the long run. Kind of like Rob's fabricator/welder.

Having a fabricator working for you is basically the best thing ever (guy who works for me is a toolmaker)

If only it didn't require so much more stuff to make that turbo work. Most of these winners will sell the turbo when they realize what's required to use it.

@@unclejohn5012nope, just new exhaust, mounting brackets, oil feed and return, tons of creative engineering if you still want a hood and everything else to continue function that’s near it under the hood, then the fuel and control systems to utilize the added air. Not much at all…..

@@-joe-davidson intercooler, piping, ecu, exhaust fab, reworking the entire heads, the compression, etc. It's a pain in the ass if you dont wanna blow up a stock engine while looking for that boost punch.

Neither one of those builders would even consider themselves as the "best in the world". They are both humble builders who started out small and have done well for themselves. But this best in the world stuff is going way too far.

Then said best in category corrodes his valve train from his own fuel misuse. No one is the best for long or consistently, that's why they're the best.

Don't forget he has a Nelson engine sitting somewhere too...

Kinda breaks my brain to think about a pushrod engine spinning that fast. I remember the days back in the late 90s when you needed a crotch rocket or a Honda to Rev that high without murdering your wallet in the attempt

@@danhammond8406 except for the short duration high lift roller and the almost stock heads with small valves and N/A..... Leroy is going to be a short stroke HUGE valve and port twin turbo... I honestly don't think that anyone on earth has ever heard a engine that is going to sound like Leroy is going to. Hey who knows it might turn out to be the first good sounding LS!

Did you SEE the 1320 video. Tye had a killer welding setup even before the new table.

Ford modulars are near indestructible if you maintain em. Just enormous and a pain to work on XD

One of the guys built it. It's all wood frame and sch40 pipe for the rolls of wire to ride on.

In the video 1320 did on Cleetus’s stuff, he said there’s over a thousand dollars in that wire rack build. He said Nate built it with a couple two by fours and some schedule 40 pipe in a couple hours when he first got hired. So ten dollars in materials and a thousand dollars in wire!
