I agree with the overall message of this video, but the project manager in me wants to tweak one thing. Instead of doing the same things until they no longer work, I would recommend taking a look at the process regularly and making small tweaks. For example, suppose you just finished a new launch. Hold a team retrospective and identify the things that worked, what didn't work, and what things the team thinks could be improved. Then make a couple action items that you will do for the next launch. This continuous improvement approach can help you avoid the plateau frustration.

Personally I think edge could do very well with more casual or fashionable clothing that’s less fitness related but more for fitness minded people. The bombers, maybe some polos, even jeans/pants/chinos/etc. Even the name “Edge Lifestyle” makes me think more mall/boutique stores rather than Fitness.

The 30% drop… probably two reasons. One: the world is opening up again. Nothing you can do about that. Two: honestly, you’re giving more of the same content, same advice, etc. No offense at all. I’m a fan, but it’s true. You, Alpha M, Alex Costa, TMF, and more all give similar advice. I haven’t seen a video with new tidbits to chew on in quite a while, but I still watch you because I’m a fan. Not everyone is as loyal though. They learn what you offer and move on.

David, about what you’ve been saying about changing your marketing strategy to match the ones Nike are running, they are on a whole different stage with their company then Edge is, so very likely it will not be as effective. Instead what I’ve found the best strategy is, is looking at what the company Nike for example did to become this big and start implementing that what they’ve done to grow this big for Edge.

If you are wondering why sales aren't growing fast enough...too little inventory and it seems your market are men under 6' and under 200lbs. No dark color pants, no 2x and 3 xl clothes and long sleeve fit isn't tailored on the site even though the models look great. I support your success and wish you more. X athletes and larger men will not be buying if we can't get our sizes. Choices....the jogger designs look really good along with the shorts. Also some of the videos are little cheezy but you're doing them and most are entertaining and fun. The quality and angles are very good. I know most of this seems negative, but I hope you take the good out of all I stated here. It seems you have money coming in and starting any business and growing it is extremely hard as i know from 20 yrs in my own. Keep expenses low, pay off cars, low cost living and keep piling the money back into the company with a little on the sidelines for a slush fund. Hey Beastie, Your videos are great. Just a tip, as these advices are in vlog style there are lot of distractions which will make the viewer distract from the actual topic. If possible, just rewind the advices(in points) you mentioned at the end of the video so that video will end with its actual purpose.

If you tap the adventure traveling RU-vid niche with the branding “find your edge” and then sprinkle the fitness niche into traveling I think you’d have a great opportunity to capture significant growth. If it works out it also opens up additional apparel options for your brand related to adventure sports.
Bro I’m doing the same right now. I have my tint business for 5 years big warehouse in California doing distribution of window tint and bought a nice car and big house but I’m doing a complete reset. I was very happy but realized I’m in a dead city with nothing going on and I’m closing everything and starting fresh like the beginning one man in a van doing mobile tint showing guys how to do the same.
