If I were you I would scribble on the Keychain with sharpie and then wipe it off. The dark ink should stick to the textured engraved part and then wipe off of the smooth background. It may only work if the engraving is deep. If you don't like it, it should come off with rubbing alcohol or even hand sanitizer. I promise it will look more professional than it sounds, and you have a few that messed up to try it on. Edit. I mean the metal one, not the wood one!

That so funny… I actually tried this on the wood keychain but didn’t include the clip!! I do like how it looks and might continue. But you’re suggesting I do this on the metal? Would it be permanent for the customer?

@@ourcheerycorner if the engraving is deeper it will last possibly forever. But if you run your fingers over it and can feel the part of it that is engraved it will wear off eventually. It is hard to say how long that would take. I imagine the skinnier the line the less it would rub on things too. So different fonts would wear differently.

Good morning I’m glad your doing much better this week and having a day to catch up and you seem to be more organized with your business. Wow you guys are really putting so much into you business is amazing. So excited with the punch needle frame that you guys are planning on making and selling, and yes to have available the punch needle for sale as they are hard to find in local stores, some places don’t really know what punch needling is, which blew my mind they are missing the boat because I’m sure it will be a craft that will explode in all markets soon. I leave bought the engraved metal keychains before and the gold and silver would get all messed up pretty quickly - rust or discolored or something - I like the black metal and they would last - but it’s just me buying them randomly for presents 😊

❤️❤️ that’s a good point about Dunkin! He doesn’t appear to be in pain (especially when he’s touched) so I’m not sure but if the whining continues I’m going to bring it up with my vet!

You should invest in an eco tank printer. I have an Epson ET 2400 for stickers and regular printer needs and the ET 2800 for sublimation and the ink is pretty cheap and lasts soooo long.

I forgot to include the clip where I explained this, but I didn’t end up taking them, because I forgot that we had disassembled half my keychain display to use at the agility center for keychains :/ hopefully I’ll be able to sell them soon!

How long does a car coaster take from start to finish? For a simple design? Did you sell any of the new Laser keychains? Will you be able to stock up on alot of coaster inventory during the winter months? Like 20+ of each design?

I’m hoping to stock up during my months off but I’ll also be using that time to recoup! I have fairs into December and then a couple months off

I make them! Some I free draw and other I trace from google images

I wonder whether you managed to solve your laminating problem as I’m having similar issues! I haven’t changed anything but on some stickers the coating is not sticking! So strange!

Yes, we figured out the issue! We needed to let the sticker paper dry more before laminating. Darker ink takes longer to dry
