I've been driving iRacing since 2010 and I have to say you're clearly one of the best newcomers I've seen in recent years. Especially the improvement on your first Formula Vee race in Summit. Keep racing!
Great driving all around! Your first win is made all the better knowing that it was hard faught against formidable opponents. This to me is why iracing is the best sim around. A group of total strangers in a public lobby driving with absolute skill and ultimate respect. You might get lucky once in a while and find that in other games but in iracing it is the expectation.
the wheel bash is netcode, due to latency in the connections, iracing trys to predict where the cars actually are and usually messes up so it thinks you hit even when you dont.
@@EquinoX66 It removes one of the plastic layers on your virtual helmet visor to get rid of road tar, bugs and stains to get a clear view again. I think in iRacing you can actually set tear offs to automatic with a checkbox in the settings.
nice race, I just got a moza r5 but I forgot about the clutch any ideas? I know people use button clutches for nascar but does that work for formula style cars, or am I better off with assists?
I use a button clutch and auto blip in f4 and ff1600. Eventually I need to work on my heel and to so I can turn off the assist but for now this works great for me. I found I drive the f4 better with left foot braking so I use the button closest to my left thumb for clutch.
