Today, I filmed a quick skate vlog at my local park! For the past year, I've been working hard to learn different halfcab slide/grind tricks. This one, in particular, took the most time and effort to land and get right. This has been the biggest achievement in my skateboarding journey so far.

Dude I love how you smile right before you successfully attempt a trick, I saw it with the grinds prior to the half cab heel nose slide and when I saw your attempt where you roll up smiling I knew it was the final attempt. Good stuff!

Thanks for showing the pre skate stretches lmao. 26 and been skating for about 20 years and it definitely hasnt shown my legs or back any favours. Also this looks like a pretty nice and chill park, for sure going to have to convince the homies to take a skate trip out there this summer 🔥

@@FullBeardSk8back in the day if you were hosting a local contest you used to be able to contact companies and local shops and sometimes they'd give you free product to hand out as prizes. Years ago I hosted a BBQ fundraiser at my local park trying to get money to replace the shitty lights at the park and while it eventually never happened (the city wanted several grand despite it being their responsibility to replace the lights for everyone's safety) we had a lot of local companies and shops donate boards, stickers, and clothing to hand out as prizes. You'd be surprised what people will do to help out if you reach out and provide an incentive, especially in Ontario
